Busting long COVID: Treatment in Florida shows early signs of success

New data shows that one in every five people who’ve had COVID-19 are still suffering from lingering symptoms. It’s a phenomenon more commonly referred to as long COVID.
As doctors try to identify the cause, the Aviv Clinic in The Villages is having success with treatments using hyperbaric chambers. It’s old technology but with a new scientific protocol that pushes the human body to heal itself.
It’s been life-changing for patients like Danielle Gillan, who had been suffering with long COVID for more than two years.

I can attest that this protocol works. I’m a vaccine long hauler of 20 months now. After 60 sessions, I’m at 90% recovered. The problem is that it cost me a fortune to do the treatments. Our government and health “authorities” are so inept, that this effective treatment will never be covered by them or insurance.

The government should be funding trials for covid long haul patients or hyerpbaric oxygen. I am a year long hauler. I cannot afford hyperbaric and have not tried it yet. The research says you have to do a lot of sessions for it to work. Low dose naltrexone has helped me with brain fog and energy but I do not know if it is the right medication for me yet.

I am a vaccine long hauler. For me the US government is very corrupt. I wish I never took this. For me I became an anti-vaxxer and an Anarcho-capatist after getting long covid from a expriemental not safe pfizer vaccine. And fcuk Donald Trump. He promoted it. For me the US goverment should be giving this treatment for free. Look I hate socialism. It just this goverment cause so much pain and death. I saw corruption is not a problem in shit hole country like Brazil.

I have okay days and bad days. They think Allithiamine, a B1 fat soluble vitamin might help, and other supplements because the mitochondria are damaged and cannot provide enough energy and nutrients to the body. They just don't know enough yet. Yesterday people were telling me I have the neatest old wooden Christmas tree. Had no recollection but found it in the basement. Lots of memories lost, or fuzzy. Now that it's up here I kind of remember buying it. You do the best you can.

@@karyzma99 Same here. Unfortunately, my breathing issue is 24/7. It's like a cycle. Every 40-60seconds, my body requires me to take a deep inhalation breath. If I attempt to take that deep satisfactory breath before or after the threshold mark of 40-60 seconds, I fail. It feels as if my lungs can't expand fully. Only at the 40 seconds to 60 seconds mark can I take that deep, satisfactory breath. But, then not again. I would have to wait again, until the 40-60 seconds mark to take that deep breath once again. I never had any breathing issue until April 2021. I have a few theories but always come to a dead end. My previous general physician/primary provider doctor thinks this is due to post-cov!d syndrome. Then, my new general physician thinks it's anxiety disorder. I haven't met anyone with anxiety online with my type of breathing issue. The anxiety disorder patients I met online all stated that they get this feeling only during a panic/anxiety attack. Otherwise, they have no breathing problems whatsoever. My case is constant 24/7 since April 2021.
