We truly love all kinds of Off Roading, I grew up mud riding on quads, only downside to UTVs is that it takes longer to wash them after wards.

Def snorkel the mega rzr or even better build a new rzr just for muddin, portals and 40s Matt.

Thomas Bates don’t have the budget for another RZR, but we might throw some bigger tires on this one and see what we can do with some snorkels.

They are pretty good after a day of riding!

I am more into mudding more my self and if you're going to go into deep stuff I would throw a snorkel on your vehicles do some waterproofing used axle machine Marine grease for your axles that is a waterproof gear grease you know there's certain things you can do to improve your life of your machine parts if you're running in mud

Do you have a stock drive axles in that machine if you do I would recommend if you're going to do heavy mudding to beef that up Knuckles anything that really has any suspension travel you need to make sure it's heavy duty and can take some beating the main thing about mudding is all about wheel speed and work your front tires I think I've even seen people put some kind of metal plating around there a arm suspensions in the front to keep the mud from packing up around the front a arm just try to think of things to help you or to give you some ideas

Love seeing new videos of people muddin. we love it down here in south Louisiana. i wont lie, i kinda cringed a little when i saw him pulling you in reverse. usually that ends up with a busted reverse chain. snorkel that beast and throw some portals with 40's!!!!!!! btw we use SC-1 before rides and then a foam cannon after. also look up Zep Tide mixture. works great for cleaning unit after ride.

Turbos do not have reverse chains. I already have portals some 37s - 40s would help but I think I'll try some snorkels first.

Nice video , snorkel that rzr and make more vids . We have been to stoney twice since you posted this video due to top trails being closed . The park is nice just needs wash stations .

wash stations is what the construction up front is. So hopefully they will be coming soon.

If you do get some wider wheels and tires, all those do is dog you too the bottom. And around here we have a lot of places there's no bottom. Also a good idea to offset the front width and the back. Easily done with extenders. I like the front wider than the back personally.

stock diff, it's let out a few magic pops but still works fine

Never seen a sxs do that lol that was odd very odd lol but as soon as it rolled it went into natural. But cool vid man deff want more like this

im in the process of building my own mega rzr. Im curious if you guys found a work around on the speedo? I just install 4" , 30% portals. Im only running 32s right now. My guesstimate is that i was doing about 15mph but the computer thinks im doing 35 so it shutting me down in low. In high I was doing 35ish but speedo reading 70+. Any input would be appreciated

You can tell by how you try to crawl through it that you're a rock crawler, but crawling doesn't work very well in mud. You have to hit mud with speed and stay in it. You know, Like you did when you hit the back door, you hit it hard and stayed in it. lol.

depends on the mud, some of the holes at stony you can creep through but the moment you break through that upper layer of mud you sink to the bottom.

When I was a kid mud boggin was a way of life but there was only mud not water no matter how deep it was it was mud mud mud now I understand everyone is different but I don’t wanna go water hole riding I wanna go mud boggin to wear you gotta have power and big tires to get threw or on top of the mud with tire speed and light weight

i think i once heard Tim Cameron say he sprays his buggy down with tire shine to make it easier to clean. might b a little cheaper than wd40 and probably not as bad on your rubber lines and boots as wd40

@@BustedKnuckleVideo i once new a guy that sprayed his underside of his Toyota truck with wd40 before every winter. he was always out snow riding in every snow storm and still NO rust under his 20-25 year old truck

@@BustedKnuckleVideo not your rig but your buddy's rig has 4 of the same side wheel.A directional wheel set should have two lefts and two rights.Nothing against the guy I just couldn't imagine buying a set of wheels knowing one side is going to be backwards.🤷🏼‍♂️ First thing I see.

Matt should have taken the time and snorkeled the machine. You should have used a little better foresight. Not to mention some old fashion common sense. Never cared for mudden too messy and dirt in the private parts not good.

Good thing no mud or water made it's way into my belt. I am glad I went and tried it out. I didn't have time to snorkel it before hand. Sometimes you just gotta go for it, If you wait until you are perfectly prepared you will never do it.
