I made a lot of these mistakes when I first started my shirt business, taking any and every order lol. I hated doing these long jobs because it’s just me, the designer and producer, especially when I had to do 72 11x15 vinyl shirts 😖. Now I just do embroidery, and yes having control on the garments I offer is better. I don’t like accepting customers own garments, especially if I’m not familiar with the material or how it will stitch out.
Totally agree to order item blanks now. Especially the garments or accessories you plan to push. For these items like you, they are items I can use year round. I keep the needed supplies to create the decorative items. I revisit pricing every 3 months.

My husband and I recently open an embroidery shop, we are learning and one of the things that we are having a hard time is to find places to purchase original caps with the wholesale prices. I want to ask you, do you know any companies where we can purchase original caps, and not necessarily from Amazon. We will greatly appreciate your help.
