what would be good for students would be links to freeware software that can help us draw processes and swim lanes for our assignments. I see on your QUT MOOC page you highlight 4 types of modelling pages that appear to start with the need of a Visio model, thats also not free to students is it ?

In my courses, I recommend using either: - Signavio, which is available for free for educational purposes at academic.signavio.com - Or Bizagi Modeler, which is available for free for anyone: www.bizagi.com/en/products/bpm-suite/modeler Both of them are suitable options.

Thank you very much Prof. Dumas. Every time I prepare for my Business Process Management class, I have to watch your videos, then go over your slides, and go over your book SIMULTANEOUSLY. Thank you from MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology, the Philippines.

In the end of the video there is an exercise called (Model the following fragment using OR gateways:). I couldn't figure out the solution as the board was a bit far from the camera. Have You got the model digitally? Thanks in advance.

This recording is from 2014. The slide decks I used at the time are here: courses.cs.ut.ee/2014/bpm/Main/Lectures I have continued to this course until this semester. Over time I modified a bit the course. One of the changes was that I added a lecture about Process Identification before the first lecture about Process Modeling. The most recent version of these lectures (both the videos and slides) can be found here: courses.cs.ut.ee/2020/bpm/Main/Lectures
