I used to live in Toledo and lived over in Sylvania but loved going here when I could. I mainly railfanned over between Holland-Sylvania and McCord.

Sure wasn’t one of those boring train videos for sure!! Awesome!

NW Ohio Trains Well it's Vickers :P

I do have to admit, Vickers is my favorite spot to railfan. It's also the closest to home. I do enjoy the vanatage point from the bridge. Didn't know you could get up there. But it made for some cool shots!

Nice meets! By moving the signals because of the construction of the new road bridge, they cut off a significant portion of the usable length of that siding, and put the same distance between the signals and the crossovers. I wonder why they left so much extra room under the new bridge over CSX. In Conrail days you could count on 4 trains per hour on Conrail and 1 more on CSX. It looks like NS is more than holding up its historical frequency (albeit with the addition of most former Nickel Plate traffic), but CSX is falling short because of declining coal exports. Does CN have trackage rights on CSX now; from where to where? The solid consist makes a power swap seem unlikely.

CSX still usually gets around one per hour on that stretch... CN trains 382, 383, 384, and 385 have trackage rights on the CSX from Walbridge to the North End of Toledo.

Good God, how can you guys hang out in that snow all day drinking COLD drinks?! 😮 Lots of years ago, I lived not far from this area. Close to Oakdale and East Broadway. Nonstop action on those tracks. Now I'm in FL. Not to worry, there's a CSX mainline half a mile away ... and no snow! 😍 🌞🌴💖

Nice coverage from Vickers!! I once caught 94 trains from sunrise to sunset @ Vickers so i'd say that i have you beat :P

That bit at 14:30 was fun. :D Great video Spencer. That's a lot of trains, very productive day. I like the new format more with every one you post, gives us a bit more than the average railfanning video. Cool stuff man.
