Also, your videos are very calming. Thanks for sharing. Just got my TD in December. Have been playing with it all winter and ready to roll. Love the Go Bag from another of your videos. It’s like the 10 essentials for backpacking. When we were kids and going out on the boat, my Dad had a “ditty bag”. It was an old pair of his khaki work pants, cut into shorts with the leg openings sewed shut and a strap added. Was for his keys, wallet, couple tools and extra oil (lol, old wooden Chris Craft cabin cruiser) Thanks for sharing…. Happy Friday!

Your cooler is blue! Great to see more of your setup Brian. We just got back from our Canada Day weekend camping trip, which was our maiden voyage with our teardrop! It was a great opportunity to start figuring out what works and what sort of improvements we need to make. We ended up purchasing a similar clamshell gazebo and pop-up canopy to yours. I completely agree that they are absolute must-haves for teardrop camping. We had additional shade over our cooking area as well as an escape from the bugs at night. Hopefully we can handle a few days of rain with our setup...we'll see how that goes.... Also, thank you for introducing me to that Dewalt USB dock! I'll definitely be looking into that for our next trip! Happy camping and happy 4th of July from your Canadian neighbors! Cheers, Jon

Congratulations on maiden voyage and happy Canada Day! The trial and error is what it’s all about. My hope is to help people with the learning curve because I’ve made all of the mistakes over the years. I posted a link in video description to that usb device, it can save some huge money if you already have dewalt batteries!!

Blue, I'm currently rebuilding a home built teardrop and enjoy your videos. Some are very helpful for my current project. Thank you for the effort. Funny thing, I drive by the Braxton creek factory a couple times a month and have ogled the bushwhacker from a far.

Enjoy your informative videos. You have really enlightened me on the good, bad and the ugly of the Bushwhacker but isn't much of this true of anything mechanical? Thus your candid remarks and observations are greatly appreciated. As Benjamin Franklin is reported to have said regarding matrimony, "Enter marriage with both eyes wide open; once married keep them half shut." Seems as good advice when acquiring a Bushwhacker. BTW, the cooler was blue. Best regards.

I love your videos man! I'm more of a minimalist, because I hate packing out and back up too much gear. I purchased a MyPod by Lil Guy in 2015 and have towed it with a Toyota Corolla....love the thing! The wife...not so much...lol! Thank you for what you do....it's very much appreciated!!!

That's a pretty neat blue cooler! I'm on a binge today as my cabin fever is hitting me hard lately. We have a runaway camper and your power tips definitely are giving me some ideas on our power setup. We mainly would need to run just a few lights, and the Maxx Fan on 12v, and the 12v Alpicool fridge in an off grid setting.

I really enjoy seeing how you set up and break down your camp. I am a huge fan of the Toyota Tacoma. I drove an '06 SR5 for 13 years (miss that truck), and now have a '19 TRD Sport, that I'll be using to tow my teardrop, when I get it next Fall. I'm going to tackle a brake controller installation this weekend. Have you ever found yourself needing the 4wd while towing the Bushwhacker?

You gotta love the taco! Thanks for subscribing, I’ll check out your channel when I get in better service. The 4wd is an absolute must for me, I routinely bring the camper in places that it likely shouldn’t go…lol. Part of the joy of having a tiny camper with some clearance is I can get to a lot of “tent only areas” in all 4 seasons. Thanks again!
