    We've been doing a bunch of research before we buy a lite weight camper, and this is absolutely the most informative video we've seen yet. Thanks for all of the useful info!

    What all can you run off of the battery/solar if you plug in panels. Are the 110 outlets/usb on the battery. I didn’t see anything about an inverter.

    The insect screens are easy to find online, but our parts department can not only make sure you get the correct sizes... but they can also get them delivered to you! For these trailers, we like to keep the water pressure to around 50psi. Give our parts department a call! (512) 251-4536

    Since you post technical, I need to ask you a question, maybe you can also suggest this to the manufacturers of all of these RV’s. But hopefully you can answer my questions. Why is it that they waste their time with off-road type tires? Why not go with better Low Roll Resistance (LRR) tires so that the towing vehicle won’t have pull as hard and waste added fuel. Makes sense to me. Fred San Diego Ca.

  • @RVTechToursatPrincessCraft

    @RVTechToursatPrincessCraft

    3 жыл бұрын

    Simple answer is lots of buyers buy the "look" and the dream. The nobby tires certainly don't help on the highway miles, as you've pointed out, but they do assist a little with mitigating lateral slide on trails and un-improved surfaces. Maybe not tons of help, but some lateral grip to keep the trailer from slipping sideways and pulling the back end of the tow vehicle around is something we've heard from shoppers from time-to-time. So.... for the most part, it's a look and vanity piece, that has "some" functional benefits in the right conditions.

    Any opinions on build quality. I have a small rv and quality is not impressive. I love the Nucamp T@B 400 but it's almost twice as expensive as this. Will an under $20000 unit hold up?

    You keep talking about winterizing. Is the trailer livable in winter or do extra things need to be done to do so? (Besides extra tubal care)

  • @RVTechToursatPrincessCraft

    @RVTechToursatPrincessCraft

    2 жыл бұрын

    In this video, winterizing is just referring to getting as much water out of all of the water system components and replacing that evacuated water with antifreeze (except for the water heater). You can certainly camp in a winterized trailer, but it will have decreased functions and you'll need to modify some of your camping practices to manage things like water and waste. It will be more like tent camping regarding water and waste.

    I am curious about this question too. Have you been able to get the answer. We are defiantly going to get this travel trailer, so I will find out eventually. But I am debating if solar might be useful for more rough camping, and boon-docking, or if it would be better to just run everything off the LP.
