Great songs Tony, good catch boys. I managed a few myself with the snare, some big ones too. Prefer the copper wire with a white coating as helps see it go over their tails. Again awesome footage, loved it.

They are redfin perch ( European perch ), invasive species. Very closely related to yellow perch. Oh yes they are very tasty indeed.

The biggest crawdad I've caught on the upper Missouri River would be one you'd throw back because it's too little.

Here in the west oz it’s illegal to throw back red fin perch because it’s classified as an invasive pest. But if you get it in clean water it taste good ….
