In todays Busan Travel vlog, we visited Huinnyeoul Culture Village, 흰여울문화마을 , and in my opinion is Busans cutest area. This area is an instagrammers wonderland, full of endless places to take amazing photos. The cafes all have oceanfront views, and each of the buildings in Huinnyeoul Culture Village have their own cute personality and charm, and since this area is settled on rocky cliffs facing the ocean, Huinnyeoul Culture village is known as the Santorini of Busan.
Huinnyeoul Culture village is an up and coming area, and isn't well known amongst most foreigners. In fact, when you hear the words, the Santorini of Busan, most would think of Gamcheon Culture village, but believe me, Huinnyeoul culture village is the real Santorini of Busan.
Huinnyeoul Culture Village was originally settled by the refugees from the Korean war, and for a long time, wasn't well kept. However, in 2011, a few movies and dramas were filmed here, and soon after, artists and designers came in from all over Korea and began to revitalize the area.
Now as I mentioned earlier, Huinnyeoul Culture Village has so many places to take instagram worthy amazing photos. Here you'll find narrow alleyways, colorful buildings and stairways, rocky beaches and even a cave that will lead you to the best photo spot in all of Huinnyeoul Culture Village. So if you're ever looking for a place to snap some picture perfect photos, then try visiting Hinnyeoul Munhwa maul ( culture village ).
This area is located on a small island called yeongdo and is pretty close to Busan station, only a 15 minute cab ride away, and only a 40 minute taxi ride away from Haeundae, so if you're visiting Busan, then perhaps you might want to find time in your schedule to visit one of the cutest neighborhoods in all of Busan Korea, the Santorini of Busan, Huinnyeoul Culture Village.

Thank you so much ! I cant recall 100% if there was any wheelchair accessible paths, but I’m leaning towards probably not. Unfortunately, what I’ve found is so many of Koreas tourist sites probably won’t be so wheelchair accessible. Many of them are built on cliffs facing the ocean, or up in the mountains. If you have any other questions or need any Busan travel tips feel free to ask anytime !

Hey Diana! Thank you so much for watching ! I forgot to mention in the video.. make sure you wear sunscreen or bring an umbrella when you go. There is almost no shade from one end to the other. Our faces ended up getting so tanned haha 😄

Hey Alamin! Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the video :) September is a perfect time to visit, it'll still be nice and warm but not too hot. Around 20 degrees - 25 degrees and less humid than during July and August :)

Amazing haha 😄 thanks for the sub ! We're over in Haeundae, pretty close to the beach. If you move to Busan, Haeundae is the best place to live 100% . Even within Haeundae, there are different areas.. marine city is nice.. a little more expensive but super convenient.. except for the traffic..or if you want to live relatively close to the beach but without the traffic and more affordable prices + all the conveniences, then new city is perfect.

Hey Jerin! Absolutely 💯 June has nice weather, and it won't be as humid as July and August. But if you go I'd make sure to either wear sunscreen or bring an umbrella because there's almost no shade the whole way back and forth
Is it easy to get a taxi to and from Huinnyeoul or will it take some time to get one?

It's quite easy to get a taxi to and from, but if you download the kakao Taxi app, it'll be much easier to grab a cab from anywhere in Korea. I highly recommend downloading it Where will you be departing from?
