Bus Journey in WORST HIGHWAY of INDIA | Port Blair to Diglipur in Andaman Govt. Bus | ATR Highway
Sometimes it is nessacary to see the unexplored India, hence presenting this beautiful series, India’s mini maldives, Andaman! In this series you would get to see beautiful beaches, blue waters, and also how a island looks which is 1000kms from Mainland India!
In episode 2, we will be doing a bus journey from South to the North Andaman. This is ATR Highway, which connects Port Blair and Diglipur. You can experience this virtual journey filled with lot complications and the roads are worse. Never ever seen such roads, which made the journey interesting as well as tiring. In this video you will get to see ANTS (Andaman Govt Bus) journey, and a lot information regarding it, incase you wish to travel from Port Blair to Diglipur Ross and Smith islands.

Port Blair Diglipur Buses (2x daily, 3x tri weekly)
Buses at 04am, 07am (Daily and 10am Mon,Wed,Fri)
You need Aadhar card for booking (it will be verified)
Journey time - 13 hours
Road conditions - You could see xD
Rest Stops - 5 (Jirkatang, Baratang, Kadamtala, Rangat)
Bus fare - 400 INR

I very much appreciated to ur explanation, with pure hindi. Really first time seen the most beautiful land of andaman, through ur blog with high quality of picturaisation and photo graphy. I totally support with ur request that modernisation of andaman from central government as other states of india, enjoying. The high light is the ship journey and the informative of tribes. Hi Soumit, I am from Andaman. Thanks for this vlog. This vlog has clearly highlighted the major issue of bad road condition of these islands. Although our transport department has a good inventory of buses but the bad roads down play it all. Keep well.

I went to Andaman Islands in Dec' 2004,just 2 weeks prior to the Indian Ocean Tsunami. All of the journey got refreshed seeing your vlog. We had stayed the night at Rangat. Absolutely excellent place to visit,if possible.

Reminds of bus journeys in Assam during my working days in 2006-08
Well.. This Video rekindled my happy memories when i was in Port Blair in 1980.. I came from Chennai to Port Blair Via Car Nicobar on TSS Nancowry Ship.. It was an adventurous Journey During May for 3 Days during a Cyclonic Storm in the Middle of Sea.. and returned to Chennai by Ship MV Harshavardana.. visited Dhanikari Dam, Marine Hill Gymkhana Park... still ripe in my memory @60...
