Bus collides with SUV in downtown Los Angeles
A transit bus collided with a vehicle in the area of Olympic Boulevard and Olive Street in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday. KTLA's Gil Leyvas reports on Thursday, May 16, 2024.

People in cars often think they can out manuever a bus. They can't.

That doesn’t sound possible or look possible. It looks like the suv may have ran the light or something along those lines because why would the bus be in a rush? It’s never that serious.

Look at the intersection in the video. Unless the bus ran a red, there’s no way it would have hit that SUV. And that looks like a busy intersection. Looks like su ran the light
