Sorry but the best metalcore album is Deliver Us from Darkest Hour, and it's one of the best albums to come in 2000's, but I agree with you that this may be the best BT album.

Check out Bleed From Within...I have been following these two bands closely for a few months and they both keep putting out amazing songs. Bleed From Within has some particularly spicy breakdowns. Check out Afterlife by them if you haven't heard it. It has strong older All That Remains and Parkway Drive vibes if you are into that.

Been listening to this type of music for years now. I know everyone's got their own opinion, but please explain how you can dislike danis' vocals? It's sounds so natural and brutal. He roars... doesn't scream or yell like that bmth bullshit. One of or the most powerfull vocalist in this genre next to Winston McCall. It blows me away how he can create some of harshness behind his throat. But who am I to say, Just one person's opinion. Props to BT. Album Is sick

I've been going crazy for the past YEAR trying to figure out what the cleans in this band remind me of and I FINALLY figured it out. They sound very similar to the I, Lucifer album by Destroy The Runner. Anyone else think so?

Really got into these guys after seeing them at Hit The Deck fest in 2012. I started listening to The Union of Crowns, thought it was fantastic. Backtracked to portraits, again enjoyable, but preferred the vocals on TUOC. However, from what I've heard of the new album so far, I can't say I'm overly impressed. Once again, the screams/growls are great, but the music is just really uninspiring, the clean vocals are becoming incredibly formulaic too. I'm still deciding if their new music is just too similar and not going anywhere, or if if it's taken a step back all together. Anyway, I still have a couple more tracks to listen too, and I've no doubt they're still just as good live as the last few times I've seen them. Will catch them at Download festival, maybe the new songs being played live will sway me back!

although the main RIFF seems very familiar and sounds like its been copied and twicked..... I started to really like this band.... and undrestand this would be the next generation metal,,,, which actually sounds very good,,,,,, the songs of this album are awesome and they dont sound like eachother,,, which makes the album unique.... only if they could add some sick ass guitar solos that would go for 20 sec.... it would make their songs awesome .... i wish i could participate in making sick solos for them :D

I'm not a metalcore fan but this is pretty good. I think it would have been better with the harsh vocals. The screaming isn't very good.

I've been wondering that myself based on how a lot of their stuff has sort of religious undertones dealing with sin, savior's, demons, salvation and the like, but as a band I don't think they are labelled that way at all. However, if any of the members are, I haven't seen anything about it. Granted, I will say that all of those themes I listed above, don't necessarily have to be religious, but might be metaphorical in nature.

I like the clean vocalist less and less every album. I think they'd be better off without him at this point. He was awesome on the first album, but now it just seems like he doesn't put much effort into it. Half of his lyrics don't even make sense.

There portraits album was the balls, I like his voice but you and me must be listening to the same thing cause the singing stops them from being the second best hardcore band in the world right after parkway drive

I guaranfuckingtee that if each one of you heard his vocals WITHOUT being double tracked and slammed with reverb, you'd be like oh okay... It's called vocal fry. For those of you that don't know what that means, he's essentially just popping his vocal cords. I think it sounds really weak... (because it lacks any real projection at all) but that's just my opinion. If you disagree, prove me wrong.

Mathew DeCesare I dont dislike it. Its different from Portraits. His vocals on Portraits are so good I love them. I bet half of these people never heard the old Dani. People, check out Portraits. Its their greatest album. This album is sick though, but nothing will ever top Portraits
