we visited Turkey last month. I was told by everyone that the food is very cheap in Turkey and was kinda shocked to see the prices. One portion of Iskendar Kebap was around 300 Lira! A cup of turkish coffee (which was very small) was 70 lira!!

Thank you for this video! Bursa is an important city in Turkey and I have gladly seen your report ! The only thing I dislike is the weather: cold and rain.

Bursa is the first capital city of Osmanlı Empire, you can go to Edirne for second capital city of Osmanlı Empire. You can find some interesting hstorical places there ,too. You can go to Çanakkale (Dardanels) which has also nice historical places and see the places where Dardanel war campaign was in Çannakkale. Denizli can be good to visit Pamukkale, Babadağ çarsısı for shopping and cable car to see the around.

I am happy to accompany guests in case they need something in Bursa as help or guide

Hi, how far in advance do you need to buy ferry/bus tickets to Bursa? Also, have you tried the overnight train from Konya to Izmir? We are debating between taking the train or flight.

Hi!! Definitely! Even a couple of days, Bursa has so much to see, we just went there for a day trip since my mom who was coming from Mexico to visit us wanted to buy silk but we regretted not staying at least 1 night.

Update 2022 August: After we arrived to Mundanya we wanted to buy Bursakart from the card machine but it was a little bit difficult since You need 50 liras to get it. 25 for card and the rest 25 topup. You are not able to insert 100 and 200 liras into the machine. So we needed to exchange money. After that we've went to the 1-M autobus. In the Moovit application it said it's coming every 4 minutes, but we were waiting there for ca. 20 minutes. Hopefully I can help some of you with these informstions. +1 suggestion: Learn some turkish so you can ask locals and official ppl for help. They are really helpful!

I plan to make this trip to Bursa in end of december 2022. Do you buy the return ferry ticket (to & fro) or just 1 way only? since you mentioned that the ferry going back is cancell.

Hello, 1st thanks for the videos. I will need to get from Istanbul International Airport to Bursa. I believe there's a shuttle at airport but can't find any info- maybe just private taxi? Do you know anything about this shuttle? If there is one that might save me a headache and prevent me from having to go into Istanbul city center to go to bus station. I will be traveling in March. Thanks for any help you can give. If I take metro 11 from airport to Yenikapi then train to Gebze the bus to Bursa is that the best way to get there? Is there a better way?

No unfortunately. There is an another card in Bursa. It name is Bukart. You can buy when you go to the Bursa.

it is usually between 5-15 degrees in Istanbul. Bursa a little bit colder than that.
