    My wife had surgery. Did a great job losing the weight and stated working with a trainer. The trainer is try to get her to eat 1700 calories and she’s on 5’1. Do you do have an online training program? I’m afraid working with post bariatric surgery patients is out of this trainers area of expertise.

    Main goal is losing wight to achieve optimum healthy wight and avoid DM and hypertension and some extrme cases osteoarthritis at knee. Typically after any type of surgery we don’t recommend push or lift and things with around 3.5-5 kg. And duration of preventing do that is variable between each case, due to make sure the wound is fully healing and avoid further hernia or leakage. It may take 6 week or 6 months. Depending on patient wight and type of surgery if its laparoscopic or if they cut that big belly (huge cut wound). So for that the physician clinical judgment can tell the patient when to lift or push anything.

    So I’m really trying to build muscle mass again..I had wls in Jan and started at 260 and now down to 190. I want to bulk build to look better any suggestions on the right food?

    Hi, you want to focus on eating lots of protein and incorporating more strength training into your routine. Increase your protein intake to about 50 to 60% while dropping your fat intake to 30 to 35% and carbs to 10 to 15% (based on macro breakdown)

    Hello, in 2018 I had surgery, I was 314 pounds and now I have been around 175-180 for a solid year, I have loose skin around my arms, stomach and thighs, I feel I could maybe tone them up without surgery I just don’t know where to start

    Two questions with just eating right after gastric bypass can you lose weight alone? Or do you have to work out, and if so is swimming okay? And how often to swim?

    For the most part, eating right and less will result in weight loss. Naturally, you will eat less after the gastric bypass because your stomach is smaller. But we do recommend incorporating exercise as a part of a complete healthy lifestyle.

    Heck i weoghed close to 360. But i was a solid 360. Had. Abunch of health problems though, im 158 now. I lost to much weight. I had internal bleeding as well which caused me to lose even more weight l. Im trying to gain what do you suggest?

    Hi Brandon, sorry to hear you had such complications! First and foremost, you should consult your bariatric care team to have them run any labs and tests to ensure your vitamin levels are normal (which can also be a cause for extreme weight loss). If all is good from a health perspective, then we recommend you consume high protein foods. You can supplement with protein shakes to help get in additional calories and protein.

    i think of it like this... you loose weight by cooking healthy low cal high protein meals in the kitchen and you look good naked from going to the gym

    A combination of cardio and strength training. We recommend you start off slow to prevent injury.
