i recommend you to go into the lore as deep as possible, the TNO universe represents a world, where Nazis and other totalitarian systems rule the world, you can watch as these far right ideologies burn out, and root their own nations in the way like the USSR did in our timeline. I would disagree. At least Burgundian system is looking for their perceived utopia while Ingsoc is not even an ideology and just exist to crush the people more and more and have no goal of utopia. This still does not mean the Burgundian system is better than ingsoc since the average life for an aryan in the Burgundian system is as bad as the average life for a citizen of Oceania and if you are anybody who is not an aryan in the Burgundian system Oceania is far better to live in. They are probably both as authoritarian as each other but the Burgundian system is a little bit worse but it will die quicker than ingsoc

I wont lie, burgundy is op. Even for new players to TNO, i honestly reccomend playing it if your new to TNO. And i wont lie, burgundy is the most fucking terrifying shit ive seen from alternative history so far. It scares me to imagine it was real.

In the chambers, the bricked walls were striped of their color by the desperate attempting to claw their way out. They were always in a pile, the children and eldery at the bottom, with crushed bones and bruises. The strong at the top, in their last desperation having tried to be above the gas for fresh air. It was futile. Now the ashes lift to the sky, feeding the Black Sun.

I live in Burgundy, during WW2 my great grand-father was sent to germany for forced labor. It was obligatory in France from german and Vichy state side so the french soldiers captured could be sent home. (My great grand-father evaded from the factories with the help of his boss who gave him passports). I dont want to imagine what it would be looking like in burgundy if the SS state have happened but I would have definitly supported the revolt of the Charlemagne SS army against the one that are worst

It's run by Heinrich Himmler, he and his followers were seen as extremists even by Hitler, and exiled to this newly formed fiefdom after a failed coup in Germany, so that they wouldn't mess with their schemes again.
