Holy hell this is amazing.

Once the door is opened, you can unscrew the strike plate. But otherwise, looks good. It uses the full strength of the door knob and the cross strength of the strike plate screws. I bet a good chain lock would do the same, not the cheap ones from the dollar store.

If there is some kind of torx or non-standard screw used to attach the strike plate, it would slow down someone who brought a phillip's screw driver for sure...

I had a metal door on a house I was living at with the wooden frame when I kicked my door the frame split and hinges pulled out but this guy below me had a good point Windows are the big break in point

+Brandon Norwood Well have screws that go into the 2x4 that frames all doors don't count on the door frame which is very weak as you can see on our first zombie proof your door video door frame was kicked out in two kicks,

like I said in the last video you if you had a screwdriver to take the screws out on the plate and just open the door the door opens more than enough to get a screwdriver or drill to take screws out and there you go you're in the doorway kick it if you can just shoot the screws or take them out and what about kicking the bottom of the door ?

id recommend at least 3 inch screws, if not 3.5 to 4 inch. you'll see that lock will not rip off your Handel lock. very difficult to kick in a door with larger screws. id make sure you drill them into the hard wood beam

who actually stands in one place kicking or ramming a door most people who are trying to break into a house have more room at the front door giving them momentum to break a door so I'm willing to bet if you gave more room to run at the door it would be easier to brakes that chain

zack smith I agree with you bud. they need to show the effects with this guy charging at it with enough room to get at a good speed and then for him to drop his shoulder down to the height of the door knob that way with the force he puts on the door all the pressure will be by the door knob and not 2 feet higher then the door knob.

+Matthew TaZ We know of no door lock that protects windows, but we are in the process of working on a door lock that protects window glass. We are having problems with the force field it will not reach from the door to the window. when we figure out the force field we will do a video on windows.

gucci water Hey jackass, You have to close the door to unhook it. If it's open it's extremely difficult to do so because it's stretched out all the way and can't be moved

just bexause he plays american football it doesnt mean he know how to kick. i bet any midweight from Muay thai gym could put it down.try it ull see what i mean, this guy doesnt know how to reach optimum momentum kicking. he might be good throwing balls thoug.
