That's plain wrong, natural preservatives like salt and vinegar would even prevent 100% natural homemade burgers from forming a mold. just check the video about that from a German KZreadr named Pommes Män

@M M food goes bad 24 -48 hours. Mold doesnt just appear. As you're not American, I thought you'd have good education, alas no. Mold takes at least 24 hrs in ideal conditions. Basic health and safety. Mold doesnt grow in low humidity. If your food goes bad after 6 hours, you need to buy it elsewhere, you're buying rotten food. If at all possible could you enlighten me as to what substance goes bad after 6 hours, not even dairy goes bad that quick. I've got no beef with any fast food place and will tell the truth. It seems as if you have issues with mcds and are spouting opinions. Also, wendy's? Is that a fast food place? I dont eat fast food, I'm not lazy and I can cook.

@M M I think it's time for you to read a book. I've been a farmer for 20 years. I eat only organic vegetables and rarely eat meat. I'm not American, uk here. Also, a salad wilting is not mold. Its dehydrated therefore will taste different. My whole point was that mold doesnt grow in low humidity environments. That's basic. But you told me I'm wrong because it upset your stomach. That's not even close to what I said. That's called a straw man argument.

There was no mold on any of the McDonalds food. It looked like it was only a day or so old, except dried out. The bun and fries looked like it had set out overnight not 3 years.

From a digital marketers perspective: There are videos on youtube with foods with preservatives in them and they leave them out for days and the food does not mold or anything. These videos went viral and this is the reason BK went with the marketing trend. Its suppose to be controversial because it'll get you talking about it. Does it make you lose your appetite? If you're not a regular fast food/BK eater maybe. If you are, which is who this ad is aimed at, it sounds like your favorite burger place got "surface level" healthier.

Lmao remember i bought a burger for my wife a few years ago i never gave it to my wife cause i forgot. A month later i was cleaning behind my truck seat and remembered about the burger. I thought i was going to be moldy. When i opened the bag it looked the same. With this im happy they are doing this.

I'm surprised that the Burger King Marketing Executives didn't put let's say to other hamburgers side by side with their Whopper let's say a McDonald's burger and a Carl's Jr burger all decomposing more or less at the same time to find out which Burger has the very least or no preservatives at all.

GREAT!! I tested BK and Mc French fries 4-5 years ago, they both took 3 weeks to start molding!! while French fries from local restaurant took a few days. Showed the result to my kid to avoid them as much as we can.

This is pretty genius, anyone who watched "super size me" remembers the McDs fries that never mold. This just shows that your food is absolutely going to be fresh, maybe not healthy, but at least very fresh.
