Join us on another adventurous day in Vieques, Puerto Rico!
Today We will be traveling to Green Beach! which is supposed to be great for snorkeling. We were not disappointed. Some pretty fish, a starfish and even a Sting Ray!!! On our way there we also came across old abandoned military bunkers from World War 2.
Then a quick trip to the Ceiba Tree. A 400 year old tree that grows in a mysterious way. It was very sacred in the Mayan culture as it was thought to be a connection to the next life. This specific tree has survive 400 years of hurricanes, floods, and human interactions. It was amazing to stare at and just examine the roots and how it grows.
