The favourite moment is to see Rosie laughing again, and also when you just have those normal conversations... The things that you look forward to like "going for a run", a shower, just going upright... 😂. Always nice to watch your videos. 👏

Es vergeht kein Tag, an dem ich nicht mindestens jede Stunde auf den Tracker schaue und egal wie spät es geworden ist, für Antoines Berichte muss vor dem Schlafengehen immer noch Zeit sein, um direkt nach dem Aufstehen wieder zu schauen, wie sich unsere tapferen Malizians in der Nacht geschlagen haben. Die Stimmung an Bord ist so sensationell und Antoine versteht es, die Stimmungen immer richtig toll und authentisch einzufangen!!! Super toll auch, wie er sich um unsere tapfere Rosie kümmert, die trotz Gehirnerschütterung immer noch gut gelaunt ist! Einfach nur großartig! Halte alle Daumen, dass der Wind Euch auf den letzten Meilen zum Ziel gut gesonnen ist!!!

Brothers in Mind!

Love following Team Malizia and their various weather conditions during the transit. Best, when Rosie and Antoine converse of time ashore and the constant irritable motion aboard. It's great to see Rosie resting, eating and making an effort to recover after her horrific accident, being thrown from her bunk. Pray all a safe passage!

Good to see Pirate-Rosie smiling again! Keep it up, Itajai is just a few days ahead.

Impressive to see this good mood under this conditions, deep respect! Keep on going, the nice coffee and shower are not so far any more!

The combination of Antoine and Rosie always makes me laugh so much 😆, Boris and Will are the steady ones and Nico the introverted Brain. The Perfect Team.

Yea, the perfect team, absolutely agree! Somehow reminds me of the ancient "Likedeeler" stories - in the best possible way. 5 outstanding individuals, each one with a lot of character! And forming a crew to scare the s**t even out of Poseidon... Deep respect, all the best wishes! Sincerely hope they win at least this stage. They absolutely deserve it.

Always love the interplay between Rosie and Antoine, I think they both help each other a lot to keep their spirits up. Thank you for the great footage Antoine, I loved the scenery and the Albatrosses. But most of all your ability to capture the spirit and life of the crew.

Es ist die Gemeinschaft eher als das Seegeln, denke ich🎉❤ So sind wir als Menschen auch gedacht

Antoine ist für mich der beste OBR, zusätzlich ist er noch Bordpsychologe, Motivator und Krankenpfleger. Außerdem kann er noch gut Geschichten erzählen und die Mannschaft bei guter Laune halten. Antoine kommt in einen dunklen Raum und erhellt ihn mit seiner unglaublichen Aura. Für mich eine sehr wichtige Person an Bord. Ich verpasse keine Folge oder Video von Malizia. Es ist in der jetzigen Phase auch dramatisch spannend im Kampf gegen den ärgsten Konkurrenten Holcim - PRB. Also viel Glück für das große Finale 🤗🤗👏🍀⛵️

Long run to the leg finish guys where you can have coffee, cooked meals and lovely long hot showers or soaks in the bath to ease those aching muscles. Thanks for showing us just how violent it can he inside and Imoca 60 battering along on the breeze. Glad to see Rosie is recovering well from her incident onboard. My favorite moment was when Rosie started laughing uncontrollably when Antoine joked that she banged her head on purpose so she could sleep all the way to Itajai! Such a great insight into life onboard. These "dailys" are the best in all the many races I have followed online. (From VO 70s and earlier) THANK YOU MALIZIANS! You make my day so so bright!

Great report Antoine. In addition to the great and exciting moments, there was a lot of deprivation and hard everyday life. The final isn't far away... Stay focused and healthy👍👍👍💪💪💪

A great team with the best video reports. They are a tough lot. I sailed across the North Sea in a gale of Force 8, it took 36 hours of being bashed about and that was enough for me. 30 days no way. Respect.

Deep respect folks. You are an amazing team. Looking at the tracker and wind forcasts it looks like the route to the finish line will be far from straight forward, with gale force winds in some places and virtually no wind in others. Cool team, I feel with you all. Some years ago during my inshore OK-Regatta which took 8h for Olympic track afterwards I feel 5minutes land sickness. You amazing guys sails one month in southern ocean. I wish you the best to refresh fast on land. Now I’m as virtual skipper and stay close to you in the Atlantic and follow you to Itajai. ... everyone on the boat need some time ... denken wir mal ganz kurz, aber wirklich nur ganz kurz daran: vendée - boris - ganz allein - und alles ganz allein regeln und tun - nonstop - ohne etappen!!! umso deutlicher wird es wohl irgendwie, wie "crazy" so ein vorhaben doch ist!!! :-) fein, dass die stimmung und das befinden weiterhin gut ist, dass rosalin auf dem wege der besserung ist und ihr erstmal "nur noch" 1300 meilen vor euch habt ... - schwieriges glücksspiel jetzt!!! alles gute. daumen gedrückt ...

Where originated the idea of wearing a rugby scrum cap? Luved it! Keep the positive mindset, get well Rosie and safe sailing ❤

You could use some Rugby helmet, they are pretty light and could save lot of headaches (lol) in case of a fall or headbutt in a wall or whatever. Edit : hooo I see you got some later in the video... Good..!

This video gives an amazing insight into life on board an Imoca 60 that is racing and not just one that is pootling round a bay. The good humour displayed between the crew must make life a little easier. Now that Itajai is closer the thoughts of peace and quiet, showers, coffee and good food will never be far from their minds. It is a huge relief for Malizia’s followers to see Rosie up and about, smiling and laughing with Antoine, our star reporter. Keep on it Team Malizia. Not too far now. 🫶👏

For the first to see Rosalyn in rather good shape and see her laughing makes me feel very happy - then being first team rounding Cape Horn - then to stay on Position 1 as we know how strong Holcim is sailing - NOW - what are the right courses on this last 1.100nm. After reaching almost the Brazil coast to go more NE tomorrow and then on starboard heading with more or less half wind to Itajai??? - Beside all this: I find rounding the Cape Horn should also be an important waypoint and be scored-- what does our community think?

To be honest, I think it's easier, more comfortable, and safer to launch in a rocket and spend two or three weeks on the International space station. You guys are hard core for sure. 😳

Oh my gosh you guys. How do you stand it? This is intense. And that’s just watching- it must be off the charts uncomfortable. Especially as Rosi tries to recuperate from her ordeal. What will your bodies feel when you are on solid ground? How do you readjust to land life? I am not a sailor so I am curious how that will be. Thank you for sharing these slices of your lives! You are so close. Hang in there!

Sometimes they even get land sickness! but normally they adjust back quite quickly - although this will be the longest leg so let's see! We keep you posted!

Remember this the stern where Antoine and Rosie are sitting is the most stable part of any vessel. I have hit my head on the bunk above in the bow as the trawler punched through a 30ft breaking wave almost stopping then dropping, putting me in freefall.

Huh, you think so? Malizia needs some downwind conditions to play out their advantages. The tracker shows that but Holcim has not been as bad in downwind as well.

If you wouldn’t win a single leg….. you certainly would win the price for the best entertainment!

Bloede Frage: Wie kommts, dass Rosalyn's Haar so locker faellt Nach ueber einem Monat auf See. Sie wird wohl kaum jeden zweiten Samstag bei einem Friseur vorbeischauen. Silly question: How is Rosalyn's hair so fluffy after more than a month at sea? I doubt she has an appointment with a stylist every other Saturday.

Rosie, the INDOMITABLE..now offering impromptu yoga dining with Southern Ocean repartee as dessert..

At the next port Buy some fully suspended mountain bikes and cable tie them under the seats and also under the beds, get some bungy cords and Matt them over the top of the beds. Surely it's faster to have good backs and not have concussions.

Next time you should contact me for an ergonomic concept on board ;-) Keep going on, stay care!

@@teammalizia Strength to you! - Nico is the right man to discern the fastest path through the jigsaw puzzle of systems.

A Question @ Construction please: The "beds" are fixed with ropes and pulleys on the Hull. Why don't you include in this construction sections of rubber band, calculated on the wight of the owner from each bed? This would work a bid like a suspension and didn't cost much more wight. I feel so sorry for Rosie. Her head is shaking and bumping nonstop.

He can bail, cook his food, take photos, first aid and medical, upload photos but nothing to do with tactics, weather or sailing

I was just thinking about making a floor that's like the gimbal to the oven but it's the floor and it's hooked up to socks like a car
