  Hmmm. Natürlich irgendwo verdient, allerdings finde ich es doch ambivalent von einer Umweltkampagne - im Gegensatz zu den anderen Segelteams - zu sprechen und gleichzeitig schon ein neues Boot im Bau zu haben, obwohl das aktuelle Boot gerade mal eingesegelt ist. Meine Interpretation von Glaubwürdigkeit ist eine andere, zumal die Boote unrecyclebar sind.

  Ich konnte nicht warten und war in Lorient. Schön das Boot in Vorbereitung auf die Vendee durch so ein kompetentes Team zu sehen. Danke für die Möglichkeit und ich drücke die Daumen das es im November gut läuft und Du heile und erfolgreich zurück kommst.

  VendeeGlobe 2020 was life changing for me: education (oceans, planet Earth, geography, sailing, technology and I probably missed some things!) and inspiring in terms of being allowed a window into the 3 month solo sailing emotions, mental and physical challenges. Boris was one of the best educators! I learned so much from his broadcasts. Additionally, the sportsmanship from Boris and all of the other skippers and teams is part of the experience that I value highly. Best, best wishes to Boris, his family and all of Team Malizia for a great VG2024!

  I am glad, he has Will in the background: he knows every breath of that ship, the days, the nights, they grey, the lonelyness in southern oceans... That`s an Apollo-quality: Neil knew during all those `firsts` while landing Eagle, that there was an experianced astronaut at the microphone to talk to the crew... When Boris will reach Cape Hoorn - from the Southern Pacific (!), he will be as lonesome again, as all those astronauts up there. Love from here to you, Greg !

  Wenn bei mir kyrillisch, japanisch oder spanisch geschriebene Kommentare ankommen, dann erscheint eine graue Textzeile unter der Fremdsprache: ''Übersetzen in: Deutsch'' Diese Hilfsfunktion ist ziemlich neu und absolut hilfreich - erst recht, wenn es um fremde Schriftzeichen geht. Es ist mir ja auch nicht egal, ob da ein Russenbot, oder eine Ukrainerin kommentiert (z.B.) Wie sollte ich das angesichts kyrillischer Hyroglyphen unterscheiden können, zumal ich es gar nicht einsehe, auf englisch-oder z.B. französisch-sprachigen Seiten irgendwelche Kyrillischen Texte durch den Google-Übersetzer zu quälen :) Hier hat KZread echt einen tollen Job gemacht, damit die Leute sich hier besser (intuitiver vor allem) verständigen können. Schau mal, ob Du irgendein Backup versäumt hast, indem diese Schnellübersetzung mit drin steckt... denn hier musst Du gewiss nicht hinterherlaufen, wenn die Vendée Globe losgeht ❣

  Du wirst dieses Erlebnis nicht vergessen werden. Wir waren am 9.6.24 bei der Zielankunft vor Ort. Es war unbeschreiblich. Ich überlege zur Zielankunft ein paar Tage nochmal dort hinzufahren.

Denn das weiß er doch längst selber... niemand hätte Roald Amundsen daran erinnert, ''seinen Wollanzug nicht zu vergessen'', als es mit der Fram Richtung Südpol ging:) Ganz deutlich: Ich will Dir nix.
