it all goes back to the 80s, the great team of Aris, Nick Galis and the European Championship we won in '87 which was the first major trophy won by Greece in any sport and gave us a new found belief that we could compete against the best and come out on top.... it all started there.... so yeah.... we do love basketball! Lets hope Olympiacos winning the first European Trophy in football will have a similar ripple effect in the years to come
