Here is a great puzzle from TwistyTex, his bump 5x5x7. This can be considered a hybrid of 3 different puzzles. Can you guess what the 3rd puzzle is?

Jon, thank you (as always) for all the nice things you always say about my work... you are truly too kind. We all really appreciate the effort you put into explaining & demonstrating both the mechanics and relationships of the various puzzles that you choose to showcase in your videos. I've learned so much from you over the years of watching your videos. For me, there is no higher honor that getting to see my puzzles on your kitchen table! 😻 Thank you (again) for helping me share my puzzles with the world. 😻🤠 So, am I allowed to submit my guess to the "3rd hybrid puzzle" question? I hope I get it right! ... ... ... ... ... After the 5x5 center & edge reduction, and the 3x3 solve... you are left with a 3x3x5 (that still requires some center reduction).

Hi Casey, believe me, the honor is mine. I have the easy job of playing with these fantastic puzzles, while you actually go through the brilliant process of conceiving, designing and creating them! Were it not for my lack of talent, technical prowess, and ingenuity in these things, I would do the same as you! Regarding your guess, you are very close, and perhaps it is a more correct guess then my interpretation, but in the next video you can see my thoughts on in ;)

@@SuperAntoniovivaldi So, if we're thinking alike... and we just might be... then the most basic equivalency for what remains would seem be a 3x3x2 (given the top & bottom layers are already solved AND leaving aside the remaining center reduction on those two remaining layers ). Is that where you were headed?

Love this video It’s encouraged me to look around at some bump/mirror cubes for my collection that previously I didn’t intend on doing.

Hello! Long time fan here. Amazing video as usual. I have a request for you. I've made a bricks bandaged 4x4 out of a mass produced 4x4 cube and I've had issues even scrambling the puzzle. I'm guessing the solve is very challenging, akin to the burr 4x4 puzzle, albeit very different. Luckily, the puzzle got mass produced by Calvin's puzzles and is readily available. Hopefully you can come around to making a walkthrough of it as there are no similar tutorials on the internet. Great content as usual

That puzzle is absolutely beautiful. I’m not sure how Twisty Tex operates but if there is any possible way I could purchase that puzzle please reply I need that piece or artwork.

Is the final puzzle a 5x5x2? The reason I think that is because you only need to set layers 2 and 5, so 2x and each layer is 5x5 so 2x5x5 maybe? Is my logic correct?
