Honestly though, that’s what I liked about Transformers Prime. They did so well giving Bumblebee character development, even without is voice box, and it was awesome having a human who could understand him to explain what he was saying almost every time he spoke.

I think they have something called “chronometers”. I heard about it from one of the comics, since it would make sense that they would have various devices to side with such things, like universal translators, fuel gauges and mods to tell the time. (It was talked about briefly and some universes use different explanations of certain functions, like how in the Bayverse series used the internet to help with translations but in Prime shows how certain words don’t translate with the Universal Translator since certain things/words don’t exist on Cybertron as appears to Earth, like “Pizza” wouldn’t translate in some universes)

0:58 Bumblebee losing his voice box is overused but I personally don't like how it's handled. When Bumblebee loses his voice, he usually replaces it with something else that others can help understand with (Radio clips or beeps). I think it'd be more interesting and relatable if Bumblebee, when he does lose his voice for a good reason, actually used his actions to communicate. This is my personal opinion but I think it'd be a nice and simple contrast to Optimus. Optimus for a lot of his time has spoken to try and solve problems either within his team or his enemies. Having someone else be opposite in their approach but have the same conclusion as him, especially someone close or recognizable, would make for nice variety. And hey, maybe if the idea is brought back (hopefully not for a long time) they could have Bumblebee possibly have a mute partner or friend in the series who's mute and teaches Bumblebee sign language. Just an idea, but I think it'd be nice. As for if Bumblebee got a new voice box, I'm not sure. I mean maybe he would take it but soon realize he doesn't need it to take the lead like Optimus and go back to being mute. Or he just rejects the voice box after being mute for a long time and come to the same conclusion. 2:40 I think B-127 was just Bumblebee's cover name or something. If the Decepticons knew Bee's real name, they could use it to their advantage if he had connections to others as most of Cybertron is under Decepticon control. (Sorry this is so long xd)

To explain Cybertronian timekeeping: in the Wii game Cybertron Adventures, when you're playing as Bumblebee coincidentally enough, you're trying to escape a crumbling structure. When the clock reaches a minute, Ironhide calls and tells you you have "half a cycle left". Thus, a full cyclenis double that, 2 minutes. How this scales up for everything else, I have no clue, but I personally just double everything. Megacycle = 2 hours, Solar Cycle = 2 days, Stellar Cycle = 2 years, Nanocycle = 2 seconds, Astro Cycle = 2 milliseconds. Makes sense to me.

I really love this series and can't wait for more like maybe Ironhide or Skywarp

I think Bumblebee had an almost magnetic makeup, meaning that as long as a part wasn’t too far away from the body or too damaged, it could come back. And also, in The Last Knight, I think Optimus smacked him so hard that something twitched back into realignment, therefore working when he tried to speak. That was how I thought of it, anyway.
