Bully wild hogs make it hard to trap.

#yawtyawt #wildhogs
This week I’m laid up with back issues. But the wild hogs I want to trap aren’t acting very friendly anyways. Here’s what I’m watching as I try to trap the hogs.

I ruptured my L4 and L5 10 years ago. All my pain was in my right leg and 3 epidural blocks didnt help my situation at all. The constant pain finally broke me on down to where i decided to go ahead with surgery...was the best decision i ever made! Felt like a brand new man when i woke up! That kind of pain is no joke and i hope you get relief from it very soon! Enjoy all your videos...keep up the good work and God bless you!

Same here. I ruptured my L4 and L5. I got to the point that I couldn’t take it. They went in and shaved both down where it would not press on my sciatic nerve anymore. They said I might get 10 years before I had to have anything else done. It’s been 13 years so far. Everyone’s bodies are different though. Prayers

I have that same issue going on but I just take tramadol and gabapentin. Occasionally I get back shots and that helps when it gets bad. A surgeon told me to go with drugs as long as I possibly can. 😮

@heavenbound358 they tell you that because they get $ from the pharmaceutical companies for every prescription they write. If it gets bad enough, I would definitely consider looking in to surgery to fix the issue.

Hey David. I had a ruptured disc (L4-L5) in 1982. Got it fixed. Another(L5-S-1) was repaired in 1995. I am 67 years old and feel good most days. If you get no relief from the Chiropractor don’t be afraid of the neurosurgeon. Instant relief for me. Best of luck!

Great empathy to your back pain. Aug 2000 I had a compressed L1, which in Oct 2000 burst. 10 month in 2 section plastic casting, initially collarbone down to top of legs, gradually cut down to waist. Now have disc compression between each L1-L4. Back in 1978 had T7 fracture as well. God is good, yes I hurt, but neither fracture caused paralysis. May I suggest when laying down place support in the small of the back, I use a large beach towel that I fold to a comfortable thickness, which I can add a gel pad either heated or frozen as needed. You don’t want either in direct skin contact, or for long duration. Your chiropractor can let you know which is best, if either, should be applied. Good to see you doing the stretches, as they do help. Sciatica pain certainly can be challenging. I’ve got 2 different braces I alternate between for both abdominal (multiple abdominal surgeries have totally weakened the muscles) and lower back support, which I utilize for support when doing, within the weight limit I’m restricted too, either lifting/pulling. Again your chiropractor can suggest one if appropriate. The two I have can be worn over clothes, are totally adjustable and do offer support and a reminder to not over do. One came with a gel pack that can go into either a front or back built in pocket, heated or frozen, as needed. Prayers that you are feeling better soon. Hope you are able to enjoy the football game!! God bless you and the family!!

David you really need to get a Inversion table. I did the shots, stretched, hot and cold showers, baths, I also did the needles. Nothing totally worked until I got a cheap old inversion table. You don't have to go totally upside down. 45 degrees will work. You will not regret it. The doctor wants to drug you and make you spent more money for his useless tricks which will not work. The muscle is pulled over your bone, and you need to stretch out your vertebra, and get oxygen into your disc's. The table is the only thing that FIXED my issues. It also helps your body stretch out and you will feel better. Yes I did the leg thing you were doing also it was only for a temp relief. You can also get a golf ball, and a ace bandage. take the ball place on your upper calfin the middle or right or left of the rear of your calf, not the side. and wrap and put pressure on that nerve which is the sciatica nerve that runs down to your small toe I'm now 57 and will always keep my inversion table. You don't have to get the expensive one either. I got mine off of facebook market for 45 bucks, and it was brand new. I suffered and spent thousands of dollars over a 10 year period. Wasted my money on lies and drugs that did not work.

Dave i use an inversion table it helps a lot have have herniated L4 AND L5 both sides. You have to concentrate on relaxing that part of your back to loosen it up enough to stretch out while you are hanging upside down. You have to do it daily for awhile then it can taper off over time it helps you avoid walking crooked!!!!

I had knee replacement back in November and rehab was going great and in January I developed a staff infection in my back. MRI showed no disc damage but it showed an abscess on my L1,L2 vertebra and I had severe spasms and couldn’t get up. Hospital stay for a week, no surgery done but antibiotics for 6 weeks, still weak and walking like a new born giraffe but much better, and started rehab again for knee, struggle is for real and I pray yours is only temporary and you recover fast, good luck to you.

Dude, see a good neurosurgeon for a workup. I've had low back surgery and now feel great. Take your time though. God bless you and your family.

Prayers for that thrown back. I too have a bad disc in my L5 area. There is an injection you can get from a pain management Dr. That will do a lot to help. It's basically a nerve blocking injection which works by essentially paralyzing the nerves around the injury so that you no longer feel the pain from the injury. That helps calm the muscles and stops them from constantly spasming. It helps a ton. Just know that you can always reinjure the back in a similar way, and you'll get the sciatica back.

I feel for you brother!! I had really bad sciatic pain, all the typical pains from my lower back all the way down my leg, could not sit or stand for more than a minute, tried everything from chiropractors, injections, pills, ended up getting a microdiscectomy, that’s the only thing that worked and prayer! I’d say look into it, rather than just assume that because it’s back surgery it must be extremely risky ( I thought that at first) but man!! It’s not as bad as it may sound. I went in and walked out the same day. In Jesus name you’ll get better! Keep those videos coming!

I feel that pain Mr. Ellis. LITERALLY!! I got my butt kicked last Saturday by an attack of that damn Sciatic nerve. I've been dealing with it for over 20 years. Usually it only gets me when I start to gain a bit too much weight but as I get older it's happening more often. Getting old is a nasty business when your brain tells you you're still a young man. Do your stretching and take it easy sir. We support you in your old age!! LOL

I'm so sorry your back is out! I know how that hurts! Lots of hogs there, so many piglets and big ones too. You're going to need a MUCH larger trap! Hope you are better soon.

If it is in fact your Sciatic nerve, I too had trouble and there are some really simple Physical Therapy stretching exercises on KZread that reeeeeally worked wonders to get rid of the pain for me; I was amazed at how fast they worked after months of intense discomfort. Bless ya!

That's a big ole mess of pigs. I hope somebody reaches out to help you get the trap switched and catch those guys. Glad to see you are taking it easy for a bit. Give yourself time to heal. Praying for you.

I feel your pain. Due to an accident in '98. Some ding-a-ling was running late for work and decided that a red light was not for him, he was going 65mph in a 30mph speed zone, he ran that light and caught me in the middle, he hit me without hitting his brakes, knocked my cab 6 inches off the frame on the passenger side, then rammed me into a power pole. Because of this wreck, my spine twisted in two places, down at the L4 and L5 areas. Couldn't get no help from doctors, osteoarthritis set in and ate away till there was no cartilage left in between the two. So here I sit watching you in pain. I truly understand. Take care of your back! God bless and God speed on your healing.

David if your sciatic nerve is acting up while you lay on the floor on the side that is hurting grab you knee pull it towards your chest and then rotate the knee toward the opposite side. You should feel the nerve stretching and the pain ease as you pull the knee and rotate it. Do this exercise often and it should help with the pain.

Had a L5 S1 herniated disc. Pressed on the sciatic nerve. They had to do surgery to get the disc off the nerve. I fully understand what you’re going through. It ain’t easy getting old.
