I never seen so many augs in my life in one spot

ALL AUG have a forward assist. On the A1 and A2 models it is an obvious button on the top corner of the charging handle. On the A3 models you fold the charging handle inward towards the receiver and then press forward.

The only bullpup I really do like the UK should have brought these and not wanked off Billions of Pounds on that SA80 shit. The waffle mags are real good and don't fail. I was looking forward to using the AUG more when I was asked to go down to the Falklands some years back when I was still in the army. I would own three now if I could now. white, green and mud please. Thank you for the video. 👍

I'm a huge AUG fan, it's the best bullpup ever made and I'll go with a real Steyr AUG.

I dont know how i havent seen this video sooner - ive build a decent amount of these Nylaugs, (i even compiled / organized the file packs!) - The main reason i built these was to save money LOL. I had a custom 24" barrel made to replicate the HBAR look, and still spent under 1k for it. Somethings to note - your picatinny rails on the nylaug are backwards! Its a common mistake, but just something i noticed. Another cool thing that came out of the nylaug project was the AR15 FCG conversion, which is THE best AUG trigger on the market - available for people to print, which of course works on factory AUGs too. Great video though!

Hank if you need AUG info let me know. For example did you know that they have adjustable triggers (take the stock off and look at that hex nut above the trigger) and adjustable gas systems?

Algorithmic enhancement comment, remember when it popped up in "Die Hard", I said "ooo AUG". It was a simpler time.

I just adore Bullpup AUGs even though I have more of a trust in the AR-15 rifle

Austria is not part of NATO therefore they don't care about NATO mags and especially when the thing was developed in the 70s NATO mag standardization wasn't really a thing yet.

I was issued an AUG. The 20" barrel, standard infantryman barrel length, the 203 would slide right over it, but you had to take off the vertical grip.

Also, the grenade launcher that you show doesn't look like the one that we in the RNZIR used. Maybe just because of the picture and it being close to two decades since I've seen one, but it doesn't look the same at all.

In regards to the dual wielding malfa it is entirely possible that you were limp wristing the rifle. Yes that's really a thing.

No it doesn't double feed more than the ar you guys are doing sht wrong.

The Bullpup design makes sense, because you get a Rifle length barrel in a Carbine length platform. BUT...because of the design, you have to sacrifice the trigger quality.

No you don't. The AUG trigger is actually adjustable if you take the stock off and look at the top of the trigger you'll see a hex nut there that's how you adjust pre-travel and over travel. There's plenty of trigger upgrades also.

If you're willing to drop $400 on the KaWaTec Aug Trigger (you can get it in the EU idk about America) you can get a Geissele tier trigger in an AUG, just that it also comes at a Geissele price...
