Meanwhile in Duke Nukem Forever Grey is just wrecking aliens.

I love how Duke shows concern for people he barely knows, like how he was genuinely furious that Sarrano tricked Dead Echo into killing innocents, or his refusal to leave the ship until he knows Isshi will pull through. It’s a side of him you don’t get to see much, considering he’s usually alone when he’s fighting aliens. He may be a horny egomaniac, but he truly is a good guy.

Duke Nukem after having a horrific nightmare where he starred in DNF, realized that he’s in the wrong game but decides that he needs to save lives and kick ass.

When a Polish gaming company makes a better portrayal of Duke Nukem than the most recent Duke Nukem game, and it's simply by slapping his face on the main character of another game

I only bought it for Duke and beat the game with just him as the lead. This is the best Duke since Duke Nukem 3D. The Forever version we got was a joke, I'm glad people are working on the Duke Nukem Forever 2001 Restoration Project right now.

After a night of drinking and getting blacked out drunk, Duke wakes up in another game, replacing Gray, at first, Duke doesn't really care, thinking he can just blow right through it, just like his past adventures, but when things get worse and worse, Duke realizes that things have changed, he can't just treat everything with disregard anymore, for the first time in his life, Duke has to learn to take things seriously.

I actually liked his character development in this game, especially his process of "maturity".

I think turning Duke into a charachter that just randomly shows up in different games and replaces the main charachter without knowing what the hell is going on would be the radest idea ever, but it would most likely also be a licensing nightmare.

Growing up in the '90s seeing Duke in action was awesome. Seeing Duke in Bulletstorm not knowing why he's here is the best story and I hope they bring Duke back in a sequel for Bulletstorm 2 if it ever comes the light of day

I like Duke being serious, and Duke being funny. If they make a new one, let there be a mix. So that when he's serious, he's SERIOUS and you know who ever he's being serious too isnt gonna have a good time. But make him just as funny as usual.

Well, Duke have always been 4th wall breaking so it was kinda funny and... It's interesting to see him in a dramatic scenario and dealing with all these personalities. And for some reason, Duke becoming a space pirate mercenary and doing whatever dirty job he can to scrape by is convincing.

Duke - Shows up, not knowing anything. instantly takes command while drunk. Still wins in the end anyway.

Gearbox are lazy shits when it comes to anything that isn't Borderlands, Gearbox writers are social justice sycophants who would likely do a deliberate disservice to the character, and Gearbox's publisher 2K/Take Two are greedy corporate cunts on the same level as EA.

This feels like Duke got dropped into some Quantum Leap scenario, and he's just trying his best to just roll with it til he's spawned into another game world. Imagine the cool shit Duke could say off in something like Dead Space in Issac's place. Undead Alien mutants, Alien marker and it's Cult inspiration brain washing people, Spaceships and Space stations, Dead Space would be perfect for Duke, it was just be awkward as a 3rd person shooter.

Feels bad looking this masterpiece, Duke deserves better. I still have hopes of his comeback

I love Duke just sees that ship and thinks "Yeah, i have no clue where i am, who these people are but im CRASHING this party."

OMG! This is THE game that DNF should've been! Duke is amazing in this: he's like Ash in "Army of Darkness"! Everyone acting all dramatic around him and he just doesn't understand\give a damn about most of what's going on but he still tries to do the right thing! And he gets his ass beaten once or twice too! Although he shrugs it off with jokes, that makes him more human.

People who played this: Does Duke spew one-liners during gameplay?

Imagine duke being in borderlands

Something that surprised me throught my playthrough of this is how chill of a dude Duke Nukem was. Like he made wisecracks but he actually seemed to care for the most part, even while being incredibly confused about his surroundings.

It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum! But I don't even know where I am... Im gonna be using this from now on

I received fhis game for free, and as soon as i started playing I thought it was boring. But then i heard about Duke Nuken patch voice, and it was the best microtransation that i purchase.

This made the game 1000 times better for me.
