All of people that complaining like "im sleeping they're so sloooow"... like dude y'all definetly didnt listened to the original version of Creepin Death. Its the exact same speed. Metallica are just doing it faster in live show. So in this live BFMV actually did the exact speed as the original song. Also his voice was so destroyed around end 2006/early 2007 he has a surgery like 4 months before this show so he definetly didn't recover fully in that show but still did it. He deserve respect. Props to him!

Generally when you tune down things will naturally sound a little slower. So people who are saying that are full of shit. It's a great performance and I find myself coming back every now and again. Love the sound they captured here guitar tone and drums are badass.

He had one laryngitis after the Debute Tour from The Posion (this can happen when you strain your vocal organ while having an airway infect) and this can cause singing problems over years and centuries, Matt for example had to learn complete from the beginning how to sing again, which you can see on some of Melissa Cross' series. You can hear the difference if you watch out for concerts from the first tour and then listen to some stuff from Scream Aim Fire times.

Daniel Petrucci it covers up imperfections so people can getaway with being sloppy if they use a wah pedal, sounds amazing for like a little trick in a solo but to overuse it like kirk does nah bro. Metallica is still one of my all time favourite bands though

I Love it when everybody says: Matthews voice is terrible, Nobody knew that this was metallicas Song. First, you cant do it any better, Playing guitar and singing (especially in thrash Metal) is fcking Hard, Second: metallica is a completly other Generation than BFMV it's good that they cover such Songs to show them the younger generation (in their heavy d standard tuning). Frankly I'm surprised his vocals were as good as they were just a few months after surgery. Vocals aside, this is a really great tribute to a really great band. It can't be exactly like the original, only the original artists can do that. But this is still a really great version. Anyone who whines about it has really no grounds for argument.

Im a fairly busy gigging guitarist and singer. I've actually had laryngitis before and for having had surgery on his throat just four months before this performance this is pretty good. I scream too but my screams are no where near as powerful as Matts so its all pretty hard on his voice especially doing that almost every night.
