Great video editing 👍... love the way you sandwiched ("is that a word") the dive between the drive in and hiking at the end! Not sure which is the better adventure... 🤔 Navigating to Cabo Pulmo and driving that bumpy rock filled road or the scuba diving itself? The coral reef and sea life at "El Bajo" or the shipwreck and sharks at "El Vencedor"? Totally love Baja... my home away from home... own a beach front condo in San Jose del Cabo... Always totally AWESOME to see another who lives with a similar passion... does the heart good! Buena Suerte y Vaya con DIOS!

I went to Cabo Pulmo with my father back in the late 90s for a day and it was a stunning place to dive. I still hold this as the second best best place I’ve ever dove behind the Galapagos. I want to go back and I’m glad there has been conservation efforts to keep this a refuge for while life! ❤️

I dove the El Ventador july 2022 and was disappointed. I didn't see any bull sharks. I want to go back. I just did 2 dives that day I spent there. I want to spend at least 2 days diving next time.

Yeah, that's the whole thing with nature. We have to be prepared to see nothing and just enjoy the sensations of being underwater. I hope you get back there soon.

I know that the water is a bit clearer in November vs when I did this dive in January. As for seasons for the sharks, I would contact either César at Dive Cabo Pulmo and or Carlos at Baja Dive Experiences for details.

Please tell me those taco prices are in Pesos and not dollars! 😅 Another great post. Thank you.

Have you ever had a bull shark do anything unexpected that remotely made you uncomfortable?

Absolutely not. I’ve had nothing but good experiences on these types of dives. The biggest thing is making sure you don’t make sudden or erratic movements which is why beginners shouldn’t go on dives like this

i love that you are van living in mexico. this is something i thought of doing in my rv. i am curious is your van licensed in the states or mexico? so do you have mexico plates or usa plates? ive visited mexico many times and always took taxis the one time i crossed the border with Nevada license plates i was harassed and shook down by the federalies…..so i am worried about driving my rv down there. when i was in Bacalar last year i saw a motorhome that had Wisconsin plates….was curious if it was stolen or if there were americans living in it or who knows what but never got to meet the owner.

I went down with my California plates and didn't have any issues in Baja. I've known a lot of gringos who did the same to the Yucatan. There's always a chance that you'll catch a cop in a bad mood, but I've never experienced it.
