Just to give you some feedback, I come from a family who has owned and operated the same farm in Pennsylvania since the 1750's. I recently came across your channel and I really enjoy it. That is one beast of a beast. What a bull. When he was walking along in the field and the cows running up to him. Just strutting his stuff 😀😀

I'm 78 and your Dad looks older that me. Farm life isn't easy. When I was a teenager, I worked on an Angus farm. The owner went to Scotland and brought back a new bull. Beautiful animal. It was my job to go down to the pasture and get him when it was breading time. Everything was great bringing him back until he put his nose into the air and got a wiff of the cow waiting for him. Then it was him bringing me back. He was a small bull, so we had to put the hind feet of the cow in a hole so the bull could get on top. Quite an experience for a 16 year old kid.

Bro the size difference between the bull and the cows are astounding!

All those ladies running over when Neptune enters the room, I can dream!

OH WOW Neptune is such a handsome boy and SO SWEET for a bull near cows in heat, I'm enchanted with his good behavior! It's so sad what happened to his tail, and you did anawesome job trimming it! His butt looks fab now!

I think I can honestly say that everyone who watches your videos DOES NOT find them boring in any way, shape or form! They are SO interesting, I’ve got my whole family watching them now 😁. This is definitely not the norm that most beef and dairy cows experience. I wish all animals got a life like this before harvest. Contained animal feeding operations aka factory “farms” are terrible, smelly, depressing places, that animals will literally risk life and limb to escape. Do a search, you’ll see. Mad props to all the farmers like Tom Pemberton!

Neptune is so amazing and docile. All the girls flock to see Neptune. 😊 He looks like a happy bull.

Some of the best and wholesome videos on KZread are indeed these "down to earth, grit and grind" farming videos. Boring? Not remotely, to wit, very interesting for those of us living a "semi inner-city" life. Hard work and dedication is what makes a video.

Border collies are meant for sheep. There are specific breeds of dog for cattle. Said dogs are much shorter and they nip at the cattle’s heels in order to get them to move.

Lived in large cities my whole life and I love watching your videos. Not boring at all. I'm learning a lot and find it all fascinating. You're very entertaining to watch and the cows are so cute! Thank you for doing these videos!

I know this is a year later and will prob be unseen but if you do see this, it’s a reminder how your videos are not boring to people like me. I go through a lot of daily intense body pains and videos like this are the types of calming vids I need. It helps me relax and also helps me feel happy with the subtle little cute parts in the video like cow happiness and curiosities they have. Thank you for being someone to make these types of videos. Some of us definitely need them to get through our days. Not ever channel on KZread needs to be hyper intense on entertainment. Not all of us want those so keep in mind that you are hitting a niche for people with a specific video need or taste to styles. So as long as you keep it up, you will do very well with what ever niche you stick to.

I do sympathize since we raised Black Angus! We say things like” it’s the one with the grass on his hock “! At lest that’s what I would say Daddy knew each one as an individual, he could tell them apart, I suspect Tom and his Daddy do the same with their girls!

Thank you for sharing your daily job with us. It's to seldom that we as a society see how farming is done and what it means to be a farmer. Your content is really appreciated. Wish we would be more thankful for this hard work.

These videos are great for the layperson like me. It really does document the amazingly hard work that is involved in rearing, feeding, grooming, maintaining medical care, and resting these beautiful animals. I'm a vegetarian, and so don't eat meat at all. But I think that it's important for everyone to see these videos. I drink milk, and before seeing these videos took it for granted that milk would be delivered to the supermarket without thinking about all the hard work that provision of milk takes. Absolutely amazing.

Top tip.... even with that dosing hook if the cow drops her head, she'll more than likely spit out the dose. If you stand a blue barrell under her head, it'll prevent this from happening
