*NOTE: This film is in Bulgarian - please choose your language from the KZread subtitles menu*
A Balkan country with a rich history and well-preserved traditions, Bulgaria is a welcoming country full of hospitable people and cultural diversity.
Explore aspects of life and culture in Bulgaria through this short film and listen to the messages that Bulgarians sent to the rest of the world. 🇧🇬
Our goal is to create a global mosaic of cultural, human-focused films that capture a real look at life in every country of the world.
Our films also offer local people the chance to share a message with the rest of the world.
Through these films we aim to break down the prejudices and discrimination that are born from a lack of information, or misinformation about people around the world.
We are one species, one planet.

For many of us who may not have the chance to visit far away places, to feel the energy of how people live their lives, Denéa and Manos bring to us a visual experience we may walk inside of, to see the clean streets, to wish I could go to the markets (!), to hear from people all over the world how we all truly hope and pray for the same things. Thank you for showing us how to see!

Correction: 1. Bulgaria was established in 681. 2. The Bulgarians adopted christianity during the rule of Boris The First but it was not the first nation in Europe to adopt Christianity, there were many countries that adopted it before Bulgaria. I'm not hating, just correcting some incorrect things not to confuse people.

@@eroseros47😂, The Cyrillic alphabet was invented by the students of the brothers Kiril and Metodi , which real names was Tcurho and Strahota (old bulgarian names, ) you have no way of knowing this because the history you have been taught is an absolute falsification that serves the geopolitical interests of some countries. By the way, the Greeks came to the Balkans from Ethiopia! We Bulgarians are the heirs of the Thracians, from whom the Thracian Greeks took the so-called Greek script, as well as many other things, including ancient religions ! All this has been confirmed by ancient historians and chroniclers !
