that's basically what they are doing when they sing, the songs always contain stories.

2 years later, I STILL watch this multiple times. Such a beautiful combo of sounds. An instrument that can sound both stunning yet hair rasiningly frightening at the same time is unreal.

The capacity for humans to create such beautiful art and culture is astounding!

Not lying, I rewind this whenever I have a bad day and it just melts the stress away. I feel like I’m with my dog in the middle of the woods, just us two, living, surviving. This makes me tear up every time I hear it.

To say that was beautiful, is a total understatement. It's as if the sounds directly touch the deepest place in my soul. The tears won't stop flowing. I could listen to that song eternally.

Clearly, this guy transcends when he plays and sings his instruments. The 'fiddle' is mesmerizing and at the end of Baku's performance, he's totally hits the spiritual sweet spot and acknowledges it's greatness. Seriously, it took me back to my hippie days, communes and dancing nekkid under the moon!

I feel like I should've paid to watch this, truly amazing performance.

There's something about Mongolian throat singing (and traditional folk music from any culture in general) that makes me tear up. It's so raw and not something you can pick up after watching a couple of videos online. You have to be immersed in not just the music but the everyday life of that community to fully appreciate and understand what's being conveyed. Doesn't matter if he won the competition or not, he's got a lot of heart and talent and he sounds humble enough to realize that.
