Built to Drive Ford Galaxie | Coyote Powered “Cruiser”

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Here's another build I've been waiting quite a while to shoot. Our friend Kent Matranga owns a number of award winning custom builds and this is one of my favorites of his. This 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 XL is powered by a Gen 2 Coyote and shows some of the finest paint, body and interior work I've ever seen before so sit back and enjoy the ride...

The early to late 60's full size 2-door hardtops are simply beautiful. The long flowing roofline that "fastbacks" into the quarter panel is unmatched in anything more modern.

I can't imagine the original designers would have ever thought these vehicles would be so stunning later in its life, to be so much more than even when it was new. Just beautiful art, i can't see me ever having something like that Id be nervous to drive it around here in the hill country of West Virginia and definitely not in the cities lol.

I'm not really a Ford guy by nature but this Car is Awesome! I don't think you would expect this type of build from what was originally designed to be an Old Folk's Family Car. And what's wrong with putting that '59 Impala Dash in it? It fits nicely and doesn't distract from Ford's original concept. It's just different. It's Instrumentation layout is easy to read and it's sort of elegantly simple. It's Clean and Classy. Bravo Armando....that upholstery is over the top! Looks like it'd be comfortable to ride 2,500 miles in it anytime... Doesn't look like any Stone was left unturned....
