Picked up a 318is that needs a motor. Just watched your whole series now I’m gonna attempt my first engine swap. Wish me luck.

Great work mate 🔥🔥 cleanest swap i've seen so far. I watched the 16 parts in one night lmao. That sound pays off all the hard work after all. I have an e36 325i and i am considering an ls swap, the problem is where i am at (lebanon) there is no range for parts that i am going to need for the build, and ordering online is a pain in the ass, shipping take so much time ...

@@matt13ross easiest swap we can do here for 300+hp on an e36 is a m62b44 v8 engine with some internals and tuning, other thing i can do is a m50b30 with a turbo upgrade. But i kinda want a N/A engine and an LS gives more power than a bmw 4.4 v8 engine with a smaller package. Keep up the updates on your gem 🔥👍 love your clean builds🙌

Haven’t driven the LS enough but I love them both!

nice job bro cant wait to see this monster on the street ! but i got couple of questions if u dont mind 1- whats the differential ratios ? 2- the gearbox is t56 ? 3- when you install the t56 gearbox did u hit anyof the gear tunnel to make it fit ?

Thanks! 3.15 diff (for now) T56 Didn’t modify the tunnel at all

How long in total did this take you im looking to ls swap an e36 and just wondering the timeframe you did it in. I will be taking a few months off work when i go for it so i will be working on it everyday but just wondering ur timeframe and how many times per week u were working on it.

Close to a year of working on it here and there. Definitely could do it much faster if you worked on it daily.
