2008 FJ was the most fun vehicle I ever owned. Made me smile every time I looked at it. Thanks for the walkaround.
Dude, love your FJ! Watching you. Sasha from Russia, Far East
Nice walk around and great builds. Love the two of them throwing some punches... haha

dope FJs my dudes! nice start on mods :D never finished!
Nice setup! Thank you for the video. I have a 2007 FJ FT-4WD w/6 spd manual. I am looking for ideas to do a refresh. I like your drawers in the back.
I think it would be awesome to go Overlanding with these two guys! Two of them going back and forth talking smack are the best of brothers!! Love the FJs brother!
Great setup. Well thought out and efficient in its design. I’m not usually one to be overly critical about other people’s setups, but I’ve never understood why people put bumper jacks on the roof instead of the rear or front.
Love that snorkel!
Fun post, appreciate it.
Those are some great looking FJ’s! I can’t wait to have the opportunity to modify my stock FJ into similar builds like those. Glad to hear them running the Toytec lifts, but I’m surprised they are running the (what seems to be) stock upper control arms. I didn’t know the fact about the 4Runner alternator, so I’ll have to do that if mine ever goes out. Great Video!

The UCAs are SPC on both rigs, I just forgot to mention that when was talking about the suspension. As for the alt, not all 4runners got the 130apm one, look for trail edition.

Gene Rashkovan Thanks for the reply! I figured you guys must’ve had some type of aftermarket UCA’s. I’m torn between OME and a Toytec kit for my FJ. Great rigs, best of luck with them!

Hey, just bought an fj and my lockbox in the middle is giving me issues. And any other tips on fjs
What Tuffy console did You buy. I'm finding so many different ones ??
Great job showing all your mods! Question. On your swaybar disconnects, do you hear them rattle when driving disconnected? I spoke with a guy who makes them and he said there was some rattling. And that you just get used to them. What do you think?
Hi, great video. Can you please tell me which seat covers do you have installed?
Can you please tell me what size are your tires and where I can find that snorkel? Thanks

What is the size of the table your buddy has in the back of his fj?
Hello what is the Red fuel on the rear door and how did you mount it Thankyou
Does this exhaust get in the vehicle when the window is open while driving? That would be my concern.
Hi, May I know what's the snorker brand ?
Nicely done set up your style but I wish you would have shown more how your front runner roofrack set up to see the clearance from rack to roof I am jeep owner o5 jeep unlimited rubicon a and o5 jeep commander but I just bought o Toyota fj cruiser I an caught between gobi roof rack or front runner gobi has a 4 month wait and cost 1500 to start front runner 1100 get it now but I wish u showed more on your front runner rack set up features
Great Rigs! Looks like I'll be going with a Trailworx bumper this year too. I'm leaning toward the plate bumper, although I like both.

If you are exposed to salt in the winter I would recommend to get it bare metal and powder-coat it locally, we both are having issues with rust.

Gene Rashkovan I live down the road from Dave At Trailworx. Not much salt, but I will get it coated.
I use the passenger side armrest when I drive.
i couldnt live with the crappy stereo they put in those us etc delivered fj cruisers, I got the touchscreen toyota one and its great, amazing reception. Really loved the video. Cheers from an aussie fj owner

Amazing
Those guys struggling with the tenf in background haha
I like your FJs. Are you running 33”s? Nice set ups. A friend of mine had an FJ that went 300k miles.
What is the Israeli snorkel manufacturers name? I’d like to see if they make one for my ‘19 TRD Pro Tacoma.
The FJ Cruiser is like a raised up station wagon with 4WD capabilities! Yes; its reliable and dependable, however; has terrible flex and articulation off road. More difficult to drive on uneven trails with camper, you have to choose your line very carefully to keep all wheels on the dirt!

These are manufactured by Lenzdesign in Israel, but they ship it worldwide. Check out here (you can message them): www.drive2.ru/o/b/1046231 There is another interesting snorkel design which looks like this: offroad-garage.com/2016/06/21/fj-cruiser-air-intake-system/

Adam D I don't think they have anything for a 4runner and the angles are too different to try and make it work... Unless you can work with fiberglass (the snorkel made of fiberglass)

Please tell more about your tires and wheels. You said your friend will be going to 35's and re-gearing, please say more about this.........

The 2nd guy was running Nitto Trail Grapplers. GREAT tires for wheeling! I ran those for 50K miles and switched to the new Ridge Grapplers. They are great on the road and great on the trail so far. I'll be doing some harder wheeling come May, but the rocks and mud I ran recently were no match for them.
@generashkovan7798

Tires are Cooper STT PROs, I have it for about 20k, best tire I have ever had. The noise is there but you would expect more with such aggressive tire and the grip is excellent! Wheels are Level 8 Tracker PRO, 16x8.5 with -6 offset. love it! If you are looking into re-gearing and 35s I suggest to do some reading on the forum, lots of data... Good luck!
yeah if i could get some more report on those disconnects that'd be greeeeeeeaaat. *sips coffee*

swaybar disconnects, it works great but to pin it back is a PITA, you must be on the leveled ground and work it a little. Still recommended if you ask me, I have a video if it in action on my youtube. If interested find me on my Instagram "genafj" I will direct you to the guy.
@gammaboxer9765
6 жыл бұрын
If this isn't being rude, I have them installed on mine and when disconnected there is def a difference. He's right getting them back in is a huge PITA and when the pins are out there is a constant squeak coming from them (on mine anyway) constantly which i found to be very annoying. My next mod is to just remove both front and rear sway bars and see how it handles. If you're at all thinking about them, consider getting the rear sway bar extension links also. This is one mod i should have sprung for. Hope this helps and isn't taken as rude or intrusive on the previous answer given by Gene Rashkovan. Cheers
