    How to build an overland truck: 1. Have an assload of money. 2. Buy a new truck. 3. Buy tens of thousands of dollars in parts. 4. Pay someone to put them on. BOOM! ;)

    When he first went over the build list I said to myself, "WTF does this guy do for a living... that's gotta be a $70K build." That said: 1) Anything worth doing is worth overdoing 2) He is helping them with the build 3) I sure am happy watching these videos, so I'm glad he's making them

    Isn't it all relative? There will always be people below given a person's price point. One man's ass load is another man's petty cash. Also his whole channel is dedicated to overlanding. Mabye there is a business structure in which case this is all cost of doing business. 😁😁😁

    Loving that you're back at it! And OK4WD is the best! They totally hooked my Tundra up with tires, rims, and an upgrade on the suspension. They take their time and do it right. I'm excited to see where the trail leads you next!

    Ok. Just found this channel. And just picked up a 18 tacoma. I’d like those pouches. Is that blueridge? Also, how do you like the bp51? I e always ran a ome life and was leaning towards the standard sport suspension instead of the bp51.

    I would love a set of the bags for the center console as well. Hard to find just the right size that is the right height and length. I have some bags like this for my camera and computer equipment and love them. Problem is that they aren't the right size to fit like yours.

  • @Gantzz321
    @Gantzz3215 жыл бұрын

    The Taco Tray should have been designed so that that center section went all the way to the bottom because you don't need to be pulling that entire section in and out everytime you want to get at the 3 bags inside it.

    Is it just me or do those arb bumpers stick out REALLY far in front of the vehicles? It looks like the overhang is huge, do they even improve your approach angle? I guess they are a sponsor so they are free lol

    Scott Gerry ARB bumpers are first and foremost designed for the Australian outback. Hitting kangaroos or cattle are the biggest concerns not approach angles.

    Not everyone wants approach angle...I could care less..I ain't driving a rock crawler....before trip to UP Mich...I threw together a 1 1/2" carbon steel brush guard for my Super duty..braced to my core support. I am worried about animals. #1 danger....nearly hit an...elk (Tetons), numerous havalina (Texas, Arizona), moose (Maine golden road), deer (everywhere USA) .for armadillo I like "G" series tires or 100 psi 19.5's, hahah. I have driven Mexico City four times, Canada, and ALL across the US.. My first bumper brush guard was a model 2-60..two deer sixty mph..keep driving, sold that truck ... Second one is a 3-80..three deer 80 mph..keep driving. I recently "tested" the 3-80..hit a telepole in the middle of damn parking lot (not painted bright color, right as you enter lot)...went 10 mph to zero...thought a broke the pole off, just split a big chunk out.....No damage, just broke one weld (tough to get penetration on carbon solid bar even though I preheat.). In a diesel if you even get deer legs up into the rads, inter cooler, trans cooler, a/c rad...it can cost you 2500-3000 just in parts, let alone down time and labor. ....as I like to say..most of that bumper candy "just holds the dent in" once it collapses. Most factory brush guard are good for tumble weeds...(taken out too many of those to count)
