Hey I saw one of your old videos and I’m curious do you still takes mail ins? Or only personal projects
That handle is gorgeous. Such a beautiful knife.
Kyle I’ve been watching your channel for a long time now and your last few videos have been really good! Seeing the new styles and your craftsmanship has been really cool. I call you the Bob Ross of knife making. Keep up the good work!
I love it. I love the forge finish with the copper and green. Well done.
Knocked it out of the park with this design Kyle. Sublime craftsmanship coupled with innovative lines. Truly beautiful.
Man, that is a gorgeous knife! The handle has almost an Egyptian look to it. Great work!
Wow buddy. What a job. You are a true craftsman, for sure.
Just Over The Top Design Executed Here Kyle, Can't Wait To See Your Leather Work ! ATB T God Bless
👍 Gorgeous Scottish dirk!
That choice of the single bevel, how it plays against the fuller and the execution really creates such a beautiful line.
Your artistic abilities seem to have no limits, Kyle. Super awesome piece you have created here! 🤩👍Thanks for sharing, take care and Cheers!
Wow, that is something else. I think this was one of your best builds so far and I been follow you for a loooong time. You are a Master!!
Beautiful build, I loved working copper or brass. That green burl really makes it pop.
Ohhh dear, I was just about to do the whole "actually you will find" comment but I am so glad I doubled checked on google to realise I was wrong. I always thought dirks were akin to daggers (double bladed) but definitely was incorrect. Absolutely love the finish on the handle :)
one of my favorites so far that you have made.
It's beautiful 😍 🤩 👌 buddy.
I used to be in a bagpipe band and would have been stoked to wear a dirk as nice as this one!!
Lovely well made dirk.
I enjoy watching your videos, so calm but professional. A true artist.

Thanks bud!!
Glad to hear your voice is recovering
Great work! Thanks for sharing :)
the difference in thermal conduction between copper and brass is shocking. I've thrown a couple copper bolsters and guards across the shop just to get them out of my hands. That is a gorgeous dirk! The handle is a show stopper. KUDOS!
Gorgeous!
Dirks are a bit mythical to me. The one you’ve done here is wonderful!
As always amazing I love scottish dirks and wondered if you were ever going to make one. Great job
Nice very nice.
Stunning knife, you sure got skills
T hat is a beautiful knife as always Kyle.
Very nice mate. I think you mean filed spine. The tang is inside the handle.
I really love your whole process but your handwork is exquisite
beautiful
Really nice…great complimentary colors.
Awesome
Amazing craftsmanship, beautiful dirk dagger. Have a question for practical use, how they prevented the hand from sliding forward in a stabbing action? Never used forward grip?
I love your videos. You're a very good craftsman. I need some custom scales for my folding pocket knife. Any suggestions?
Very, very nice, my man! Maybe one day I’ll order something similar from you. Curious, though, about the copper… copper is beautiful when it’s shiny and new like this but less so as it tarnishes. Do you apply a finish to prevent oxidization or does the customer just polish as needed? I’ve never been able to put poly on brass and have it both work and look nice. I use brass in some of my woodworking tools and they look great for a week or two but need regular polishing to keep up the look.
Great build :) have you considered a low grit CBN grinding wheel to remove copper stock as a way to prevent heat buildip?
Beautiful. With all that copper, is it handle heavy? Or does all that blade even it out? Thanks 🎸🔪
Very nice knife 👌🏻i remember that you alsow did a very very nice Bowie knife ! What would a blade like that 💲 cost
looks very nice with that copper pieces at the handle. when you touch it with wet or sweaty hands to copper will not stay shiny for a long time. how did you handle that? is there some coating at the handle or special type of copper alloy ?

Copper is very easy to keep clean and polished. A couple quick passes on a compounded strop will bring it back to perfection, and if after a few years it tarnishes, I'm here for my clients to bring them back to perfection!
That is beautiful! Did you do a video, or have you a photo of the Sgian Dubh that you did last year?

Hmm. I don't think I filmed that one. Don't even recall taking a picture of it!
A "Scottish Dirk Dagger Knife", is that different than a Scottish Dirk?

No, but if I just put 'scottish dirk' in the title, most people wouldn't know what that was! 😂
Bello
Really a good looking piece. Job well done. Can’t wait to see mine.
