Persona 9: the quarantine collector who gets all dressed with nowhere to go so he buys watches that Teddy shows and tries them on and models them at home then sells them on ebay for a loss.

Teddy, never apologize for the length of an excellent video. I believe most everyone appreciates the work that has to go into these type of videos. Keep up the good work!
Got a hamilton khaki auto. Being in the military, I've worn this watch out in the field, at the shooting range, and on the weekends with a t-shirt, jeans and boots. I love this watch.

I too am in the military, but favor the skx007 on an olive NATO for my field watch. Gets a lot of nods, both compliments and negatives from some salty Sergeants who think it is too “shiny”. Jealousy I say!

@@michaelsaia54 yeah I threw a leather nato strap on mine. SKX007 is a great watch. Just keep it under the cuff and you'll be fine.

@@dparis2172 negative, the order says green khaki or black or anything inconspicuous. The steel case is the same gloss as dog tags which people commonly wear on the outside of their boots. Also, Vietnam GI’s wore dive watches all the time in enemy territory. That’s what I tell them and they have nothing left to say and I carry on with my watch still on

The Oris in house movement, 5 day power reserve, 10 year warranty.
honestly, Teddy, this is some of THE most relatable watch content for young professionals: $1000 well-made watches with history and great movements. not cheap microbrands, but no omegas/zeniths either. there is a LOT in the $800-1800 range especially with gray market and you are really hitting all the best watches that most of us can afford, at least a couple of. GREAT vid Teddy, thank you!!

Even 2 years later, I can firmly say I completely agree with this comment. Lots of prices have inflated over the past couple of years, but these videos remain a great resource.

Thanks, was looking for this
My suggestion for the dress watch persona in the $3000-$4000 range: 1. Oris Pointer Date (bronze w/ green dial is my personal fav) - dressy enough for a suit but also works as an every day watch, looks beautiful and adds a splash of color to the collection. 2. Max Bill (white dial w/ black leather strap) - light-colored option that looks so clean and the white dial with dark strap makes a nice contrast. 3. Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 (black or blue dial on bracelet) - bracelet and dark-dial option with an 80 hour power reserve at a great price, I personally think bracelets look best with a darker dial and this watch offers great value for the money.
The Conquest 39mm is SO underappreciated! Pictures doesn't do it justice at all, it's stunning in real life, such great specs and beautiful to look at, it's my favorite watch (blue dial) to wear daily and feel most comfortable with, among much more expensive pieces in my collection!
I love the long ones. so many cool choices. Thanks for actually putting in so much work for us
Dress watch - Longines DolceVita Everyday piece: Sinn 104 (alternatively Oris Aquis, NOMOS Club Neomatik Atlantik, Seiko SPB147) Beater: G-SHOCK GST-W300
Heres the perfect watch collection: Extreme Beater: G-Shock 5600 dw Beater: Zelos swordfish 40mm Dailies: Maurice lacroix aikon in black Sinn556 iB Longines hydroconquest in green Nomos club A little over the 4000 budget but worth it And after all that a GS as a grail
I always look forward to and enjoy your watch roundouts!😉👍 Even though I am a dive watch fanatic, I love to watch your episodes because I learn about different brands, I get to see eccentric design pieces I would normally not look for, and I enjoy seeing what you put into each persona collection! Thank you for continually putting out fantastic content! 😉👍
This is the best. I created a new playlist because of this review. Thanks Teddy 🧸
So happy to see love for the Tudor 1926! Have the same, Opaline and Blue in 36mm. Beautiful dial, indices, and the best bracelet I've seen.
Teddy, you videos offer so much value to the watch enthusiast community! Thanks for all you do…it is very much appreciated!
Man, this was fun. Keep 'em coming
I thoroughly enjoy my Junghans Form A, wear it almost everyday. Great piece for going to the office
This was one of the more unique videos amongst the watch you tubers lately. Great effort on this video Ted.
just finished watching the $1000 budget and now this. My heart
You sure did a lot of work putting this together. Didn’t realize there are so many watches under 40 mm. Great job
I was really waiting for this series, all great choice of set ups. Very good.
Really enjoyed this video Teddy. Please keep doing these. I learn about brands I had never heard of before, and I'd rather learn about them from reputable and knowledgeable sources.
Great explained. Love the consistent content you`re posting!
Great video Ted, thanks for the variety of starter collections!!

My favourite watch is a Tissot Le Locle Powermatic 80.
Great ideas thank you. Looking for a personal gift for Christmas and this covered many options for me
A well made excellent video. Matching watches to personna is the right way to go. Loved the Longines dress watch and Seiko SPB143. On my list.
Next episode feature more chronographs, love this series!

The "conversation starter" is a really fun group!
Thanks. Good guide on how to build a collection based on the persona.
Awesome video Teddy! You picked some great watches for these categories, most of which I wouldn’t have even though of. Except the Tudor Black Bay 58 (That what seems to make every list haha).
The “build a collection w/ X $” are the best videos!

Great video on all fronts. Very well put together and considerate of different personas Thanks for the Mido recommendation. I’m between that and the Sub 200 now
Thanks for these videos, high quality content and some excellent tips here. That Longines Conquest just got added in my wish list :)
Amazing video! I am a 3 watch guy on a low budget(under 3k), have Seiko SRPE43J1 as my dress watch now. My eye is on the Tudor 1926 now. It looks beautiful! Or Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80! Thanks for such detailed videos of watch collections 1 could have.
Good content! Thanks Teddy! 👍🏻
Fantastic list Teddy!

Outstanding video. Thank you.
Excellent review. I have a few of the watches you recommended. Presently, the Norqain Adventure is under my radar.

Another great video. Did consider the BB but went with the GS. 1st SBGA285 then a week later added the SBGN005. Team SeikoFam as also have King Turtle SPRE05.
Really interesting and cool choices here. Love the boutique makers like Brew. Cool content bro!:)
Man, I like that GS for 4K! I didn’t know you can get into one for that price.
Great video, per usual! A great alternative to Nomos is Stowa.
Persona 1 Divers: Orient Kamasu 42mm $300 Field watch: Hamilton Field Khaki Automatic 38mm $575 Dress watch: Tudor Royal (Asia exclusive) 41mm $2,200 Total: $3,075 only
Love watching you build out these persona's and watch collections in this series. Is there room for another persona, the Seiko limited edition fanatic
Great video as always, If you can , on the next one please note the power reserve, continue the great job!
Never heard of Mondaine but WOW that is so cool
Great video !!! thank you !!
Great stuff as usual, Mr. Teddy!! Coincidentally, I recently saw IN PERSON a friend of mine’s Rolex AirKing....man and is it beautiful!! And I was not a fan of that specific model. Definitely different when you see some of these watches in person!!
Nice video, Teddy, thank you. Kind of surprised you didn't have Rado True Square Open Heart or something like that for conversation starter. Bruce W did a review today, it's funky but kind of cool .
Very few people can pull off such a long video on watches and not lose your attention. Amazing video Teddy!
Hi Teddy. Very well thought out and researched. Lots of great watches including some real sleepers. I think almost anyone needs a beater watch regardless of collecting style. And for that what else but a GShock? Especially for the 1-watch person where you need to kepp it looking good. Regarding 1-watch collections I'd pick the Frederique Constant Flyback Chronograph. In-house movement, early 20th century styling, good for anything short of a tux. In steel, but I'd go with the rose gold case. It's simply a beautiful timepiece. My style? Vintage chronographs, mostly Seikos.
Dress - Tudor 1926 opaline 39mm ,$1500. Chrono - Hamilton Intramatic Chronograph Blue 40mm , $1400 . Diver - Diver - Seiko sbdc101/spb143 Gray 40mm , $1200. Im $100 over but I think this would be a stellar 3 piece collection for around 4k .
Great video! There are a magnifican opcions. I have one Mido Ocean Star Tribute, and is a rally gret watch. Thanks again for that review. Greetings from Argentina!!!
Love this series, Teddy! May i recommend maybe a “Blue collar” category
Good research!
Excited for this!

Very cool! I have my 2 Omegas, and (don't laugh) have been enjoying my Citizen Eco-Drive collection!
Love this! Really useful for me to consider which to buy and which to try for the survey that you've provided on your latest video :)
Great video. I think I fall in all the watch categories.
Thanks for including persona 4.. love the description 🤣🤣.. very much me!
Those divers for those situations when you dive from one time zone to another ❤
I finally got my Sinn U50 all tegimented! After 4 months of waiting, but it’s worth it. It’s an amazing watch, love it already. The only thing I wanna see improved is the clasp, but I can live with it. The watch is too amazing to nitpick it. That Sinn and Tudor BB 58 are my favourite watches 👍🏼
LOVE the Mondaine on this list.
That Mondaine Stop2Go is sick!
So in love with tv-shaped watches ohhh. 13:22
There you go Teddy! Missed the list videos.
Nice! Dont know which persona I am, but the aquis and longines have been on my radar for 2 years now! great value
Didn’t expect a Meistersinger watch in here. Love the Salthora Meta X from them

Teddy touches on this, it's a bit more expensive at retail.
I noticed that any and every Watch reviewers never bring up the Wegner 125th anniversary , but the Hamilton khaki is always brought up. I'm saying this because I bought the Wegner 125th anniversary , and it's so much more then I ever expected it to be . A E.T.A. 2824 automatic movement (unaltered) sapphire crystal front , not sure if the caseback is but maybe? Superlumanova markers ,316L stainless steel case, limited to 1393 pieces world wide . The most incredible thing is that I paid $146 cdn with shipping . It's the best watch on the market for the price By a long long shot . Think you should look into it . If you have already I apologize that I missed it on your channel. I seriously can't believe how nice this watch is . Thanks by the way for bringing up the Canadian brand Marathon , I've been a collector of them for over 20 years . Proud to have a good brand like them out of Canada . Cheers !
Excellent video, I think I'm a conversation starter
The Brew Retromatic is also available with an SW200 if you spend a little extra and get a different color.
I’ve never been a fan of dive watches…..then this vid with the very first piece, the Zodiac…..I heard a POP! In my brain and my heart is now set on owning the Sherbet AND the Pepsi version. Super fun and very nice build.
I love my spb213 it's very versatile and has meaning in my collection of 2
Great video!
