It's always a pleasure to watch a craftsman at work :) We have bothies here, similar idea - a shelter for people caught out in a storm/bad weather, or just hiking through an area and looking for somewhere to stay. They're usually stone built, and more akin to the cabin near the forest you visit.

Здравствуйте. Эти походы без ночёвок, несколько, среди недели. У Димы отпуск? Андрюха пропал(( у меня это строение с ним ассоциируется. Все круто , Дима, спасибо.

Вот если-бы печка была установлена по середине землянки, то тепло-бы распределялось по всем четырём сторонам одновременно. А так, будет обогреваться две стенки и входная дверь. И когда тепло дойдёт до стола и лежака, уже можно сто раз замёрзнуть! В деревенских хатах печь всегда распологалась по центру одной большой комнаты, и грела всю хату не требуя большого запаса дров.
