Hello Sheva, I give you a 10 for the spoon. You do a great job with your carving tools. Whenever you pick mushrooms to cook, it makes my mouth water! I love them. When I was young, many years ago, my dad and I used to go out and find mushrooms. Great memories! Take care Sheva, come back soon!

OK--props for arts and crafts making the spoon. BUT--instead of backpacking in two pounds of carving tools, wouldn't it have been easier to pack in a one ounce ready made metal spoon...??

I appreciate the lack of talking in this, too many people think they need to talk. This guy kinda proves in his own way that there’s a time for talking, most of the time isn’t the time. Nature speaks well enough. Tells you when to grow, when to hunt, when to build, when to seek shelter as well as move on. But I think most importantly, when to giggle.

I don't want to scare you, but in such a storm I wouldn't risk staying in a structure from which - if a tree or several of them accidentally fell - you could not get out through a blocked door (a broken hole in the wall) and a window blocked by a tree trunk...
