Looks like the House was owned by a single guy, who loved modern and industrial design. He Got married to his dream Girl, and her style was completely different from his. She is slowly changing up the House, to her style, but she is not done yet, which is why it doesnt all fit together🤷‍♀️

This series is so fun! Since none of the rooms seemed to match each other (at least in this episode) could you maybe do a follow up where you pick your favorite room from every "social media designs my builds" and then build a house around it? I've found I'm much more creative when building in the sims when I start off with a particular room and then build the house out from that

Ooh it would be so fun to see you do a challenge like this but instead of picking the first one, you have to pick the one you like the least 😂

I think that this sim is an eclectic, midlife crisis, sim. This sim goes thrifting a lot and has combined all of the random items that they have collected into this random house. I think that this sim would have such an out there look and just a funky personality. This sim found so many items while thrifting (such as the really weird style of the dining area) and couldn't pass them up. I think that this would be a sim that kind of honestly looks like Penny Pazzas. And yeah! lmk what you think :) Love you Syd!

Okay - I think I am ready to write some LORE. This home belongs to an Instagram influencer who uses the different rooms for their different streams of income. Downstairs Bathroom - They make those cute soaps. Which goes with the Bakery Room - They make those cute cupcake soaps. Industrial Living room - Where they take pictures of their instant tattoo business. In the kitchen, they make those cool marble/gemstone tumblers. Upstairs bathroom - They make those peel-and-stick wallpapers - and constantly change the wallpaper. And their bedroom is the blank space where they reset. They like all of these different business ventures and made the house fit those. HAHA this is so dumb (my story). I love watching you make IRL pictures come to life in the Sims even if they are atrocious. 🤣😂

Good to know about the debug plant not giving off shadows! I like sizing down those jungle adventure plants a lot, but always have to figure out ways to hide that shadow! Will def be opening debug next time!

i think that this is an office space for the owner of a home design company and each room in the office is like a show room, so clients can see their work in different styles.

I've got it. This person is an interior designer and they are experimenting with multiple styles in their own home to improve their repertoire of designing abilities.

Honestly kudos to you for pushing through the chaos that was this build. I loved every second of it. I think this sim is in the process of renovating this house that has belonged to some interesting characters in the past. The outside fits their style more but the inside is a whole other beast lol.

Honestly seems like the perfect influencer air bnb- each room is its own design which can give off the appearance of being at different locations in photos. plain bedroom is definitely giving me the grwm/ “how I start my day” staged video vibes

I like how you managed to make this work. I don't think anyone else could. For the next video, could you go back and finish Bloomcrest and upload the rest of the lots? I'm hooked on that series.

The Sim who lives in the house loves traveling and taking stuff back home from their travels. They love the styles they've seen around the world, but they are very indecisive.

I’d love to see you revisit all these houses, especially this one, and redesign it in your style!!! Like home Reno!

Hey Syd, I started doing this too in my game because of your videos and I’ve made the cutest houses ever. One thing I did was if I had a certain exterior that inspired me, I started looking up things that went with that aesthetic. Like I just built a cabin because a cabin was the first picture, so I looked up “cabin study/cabin kitchen” maybe that’ll help or be a new idea for you!

I was looking up rooms myself while I watched this. If you ever do a part two, using # to look rooms up helps keep it slightly more cohesive in a way (eg. #kitchen) also for the office looking up home office gives you the good options for offices. Instagram seems to be very particular about the wording you use when looking up stuff. My build ended up being a bit all over the place too. Hope this helps 💜💜💜 love the social media rooms series and your determination to finish off the build despite the difficulty ☺️

When I was shopping for my house, I actually visited a house that had the same vibe has this build. Kitchen: white tiles with ransom boats. Dinning room: vintage looking flowery wallpaper with dark wood trim. Bathroom: Mirrors everywhere, a cupid and columns. The family room in the basement had a Mona Lisa picture, a suit of armour and a terracotta looking fireplace. It was very weird.

You nailed the kitchen…it looks like the original, the backsplash definitely made it! I love your videos! 🫶🏻🤍

its one of those airbnbs that has a different aesthetic to every room! ive stayed in a few like that and it was my favourite thing ever!

i usually do so much with patterns and lights but I'm in love with that minimalistic bedroom, gonna build something like that immediately

I just loved the variaty of styles in the house !! you should do a video where you build a typical house from à specific country (like a german house, parisian building, spanish house...) it would be a good way to showcase some non american architecture :)

Definitely a vampire house. Husband and Wife who have lived through so many styles and eras bringing old and new things into the picture. They are currently on the run from the downworld, so they are in Sulani because .... who would look for vampires there???

This sim is definetly a „ Dream Home decorater“ inspired through the challenge stanley Humphrey has done once he dedecated his Life to only furnish his house with stuff he stole from his Clients and thats why the rooms are so different 😅

He is the wealthy CEO of a business he started up in college (unknown business- maybe finance?) and his love interest is an interior designer. He lets her decorate his home in different aesthetics and supplies her with his money in order to grow her portfolio and spend as much time with her as he can.

It’s one of those houses that IG stars pay to take photos in. Hence each room being totally different. People pay to take photos in whatever style they want, just to post on IG. My favorite room is the living room. Honestly girl, I’d live here. 😂😂😂😂

So this sim had recently bought a vacation home for him and his friends. The only problem is that his friends are completely different from one another. So his solution to this was to design the vacation home based on his different friends styles. The living room belongs to his hipster friend who is an interior designer but secretly longs to be a singer. The kitchen belongs to his girlfriend who has a mix of different styles and can’t seem to stick to one yet somehow managed to make it work. She loves cooking and is a complete mess (they r probably gonna break up soon and he’ll redesign it). The bakery esque working room is for his childhood crush who is like an angel (after he breaks up with his gf they’ll get together). She’s incredibly kind and loves baking (he’s obviously a foodie). Her favorite things to do are work on her recipe blog at cafes and go to art galleries and look at the marble detailing. The first bathroom belongs to his brother who is sort of a boat guy. He loves the ocean and relaxing in the bath as self care. The second bathroom belongs to his friend who is a 20s vampire. And the bedroom is in his style.

The person that lives here is an interior decorator who tries out different designs in their house before choosing one for their clients. After a few horrible attempts the person decided that interior decorating wasn't their thing. They became a school teacher instead and is slowly renovating to their own style.

The house gives me vibes of different interior decorators were hired at different times or at the same time and basically fought over which room to decorate causing everything to clash because each interior decorator had a different style and the owner was just "I love it :D!"

Day 5 (?) of suggesting this! Hey Syd! I have a build idea for you and I think it would turn out so cool with your creativity. The idea is to build a house that looks just like any home. It has a kitchen, living room, bathroom, couple of bedrooms, etc. The twist is that nothing in this house is actually functional. So you need to use objects that aren,'t fuctional or place items so that your sims can' t use them. They can't cook, go to bed or shower, use the toilet or sit anywhere. The challenge is to still make it look like a nice home. Just an idea I tought would be nice to share. Thank you for making so amazing content as you do

Another great challenge video even if the rooms didn't match in style 🤣 You could maybe do these types of challenges again BUT you have to use the worst homes that are already in the game. No editing the externals (except maybe adding garden stuff via a photo), just improving on terrible EA builds 🤣
