idk why but my lot value venue info thing doesn't really go up when I add stuff, so for anyone who also has that problem, you can do the add lot to gallery thing to see if you matched the price range! and you don't have to actually post it if you don't want to. I had to do that a bunch when i was renovating base game builds and wanted to keep them at least around the same price :)

I love how she always mention the pack the items come from, is so casual and helps us to know wherer or favorite items are (espetially since is hard to see the icons and recognize the pack)

As someone who often builds for my sims (at 30-40k budgets) the sims items are always way more expensive than they seem! Like one second you’re splurging on a couch and the next you’re 10k over budget lol

You could do another budget challenge, but you have to build with mystery/hidden budget. 🙈 Maybe someone could set you a random budget that you won't know until the build is done, or you are out of money.😏 When building, you hide the budget with tape or something else.😁❤️

At this point, I don’t even read the title of syd’s vidoes anymore. I just trust they will be good😭😭

As a kid i would DİE to have a house like this. Especially the play area underneath the stairs🥺 i would go under any little nook and declare them as my ✨house✨ I really want to cuddle little Eda right now. Thank you for this amazing build :)

Build Challenge Idea: Every Room is a Different Music Genre from the Sims

Honestly, this has got to be one of my favorite builds I’ve seen recently. Can’t wait to download it

Just saw another youtuber comment on Toronto housing prices, and came up with a brilliant challenge. The house they were talking about was 8 ft wide and cost $2M. So, the challenge, Build a house no wider than 4 tiles. Make it as long or tall as you need, but the budget needs to be over $1M. If anyone can do it, Syd Mac can.

This house is so cute and it gives me cosy vibes😍 it's literally screaming "fall season".

Okay but the outfits you had on in the ad, so cute! The way I was holding my breath before you pressed venue info! Cluttering really adds up. I just tried to build a lived in, homey starter and it was like 48k with the clutter! 😩🤣

I love your videos so much! A cool challenge to try (if you haven't already) would be to build a generic house and furnish it and then try to make it fit in all seasons without changing the original structure and just by changing the swatches of the items for example

That upstairs had some PRIME realestate for a baby closet with door. Next time there's a 1x2 closet like that turn it into an aesthetic cluttered baby neglect closet it'll be so cool (babies are objects in the Sims 4 so its ok)

What might make it a bit more interesting is to use a sim with the random budget set as household funds like usual. Then put a sticker on your screen over the household budget so you can't see it. The only issue is that high priced items will turn red when you can't afford them, which does give you some warning. Build the shell first. After that, no wall removals or spandrel/half wall/fence conversions of walls. Furnish in any order that you want, but once an item is purchased, it cannot be sold. Recolors or moving things around is allowed. When you run out of money, you are done.

THIS IS SO PRETTY 😭😭 you could try this with rooms also, each room has its own budget (build them on different lots), and then put them together as a puzzle challenge at the end

I think it would be so cool if you did a build inspired by your building when your channel first began getting bigger! (since you've just gotten 100k which is insane I'm so happy for you!) think like the bowing nights chevron wall panel, outdoor retreat lamp, jungle adventure fridge, toddler lights etc! everything you used to use all the time when your channel was boosting!

From the title, I thought it was going to work like that: you get a budget but you don't know what budget that is, someone set it for you, then you build without knowing how much do you have, and risk saving too much or don't having enough to finish the build. That would be fun too!!

Building with a budget gives me anxiety, I admire all those builders who always do starter homes and make them look good.

Okay no but all things aside those jeans at 2:40 looked so good on you! Idk if I can pull it off but you sure did! ❤

I usually more into modern/contemporary houses, but I’d love live in this house… so cozy!

I know this is from a while ago, and there's a good chance you know this already now, but for that roofing issue you ran into in the kids room with the wallpaper, if you shrink the roof so that the roof wall doesn't touch the actual wall, and then hold shift and pull the edge of that roof to the room so you can't tell from the outside, it fixes that particular issue.

Maybe you have gone overboard with the budget, but this house is so cute and cozy, it's definitely worth a few thousand simoleons more. Love this build!

Ooooooo I love ThredUp!! It’s so nice to donate clothes knowing that, even if ThredUp doesn’t buy them from me, at least all of the fabric will be recycled. I used to volunteer at a clothing pantry and it’s unbelievable how many donations ended up in the garbage 😞

I would like to see this challenge again but you do enter in the budget number in the bottom but maybe cover it up with a sticker or your face cam so that way you cannot see how much it drops down and as the red starts to appear the more you freak out. And you cannot go back and delete items to make enough money for other items and no going back to add more stuff in, once the room is done it is done. Like if you did the kitchen last but only have enough for 2 things.

id be fun to see a challenge similar to this one where u generate a random price but once u reach the max price u just cant place anything else no idea how that would work but it seems cool

I think this could also be stressful if you set the budget with a sim on the lot and then you cover that corner of the screen with a sticky note or something (can also block from our view) so when the $$ runs out things go red etc and you panic and try to delete thjngs
