I spent the past 6 months, hundreds of hours, and tens of thousands of dollars building out my dream workshop. I built everything from custom furniture to custom fixtures, and it's everything I've dreamed of.

Can we just appreciate how basically a minute long segue of building a railing was one of the coolest mini building projects I've ever seen? I would happily watch a 2 hour video of that whole process

I have to agree with that. I am an electronics enthusiast, a hobbyist woodworker, plumbing, electricity, but watching him do that railing really got me excited to finally start that last chapter for me, welding.

No you would not, you liked it because of the fun quick editing and funny pleasant noises like the rest of us. If you watched a uncut none edited version of him building it you'd *probably leave after max 15 minutes.

You look great Scotty, happy to see your health has returned! I feel like I could tell you were almost fully recovered just from the tone of the video. Great stuff.
Dude, I literally feel guilty watching those build montages. The time, money, and skill it took you to build, film, and edit that... Then I just watched it over 10 minutes... for free, in bed. So glad you're back!

The fast forward sound cut down and build for everything was amazing 🤣
This was unexpected; i was a little skeptical, but DAMN did you ever pull this together. Congrants to everyone on the team, this place is amazing!!! I am hoping for big things to come in the future from this spot!
I’m so so happy you’re back man! You were missed! The editing style is awesome, I’d just perhaps dial down the fake sound effects. Perhaps the sound of the real tools or some music would be less jarring. The video was awesome though!

Love the workshop, it's gonna be great. Hoping your head stays feeling better and the videos can continue. I liked the sound effects done but I felt like about halfway through the video the noises got a bit too much. Kinda got tired of hearing someone play in the utensil drawer you know? I think using some of the actual noises from the crafting with some edited noises would fit better.

Been watching you for so long. So happy to always see you grow. 💚💚💚💚
That Railing looks awesome af. BUT please add (And USE!) a handrailing to the stairs. Thanks! BTW: All that editing and sound effects were a tini tiny bit too long for my taste. Still enjoyed them but also a tiny bit annoying after some time to be honest xD. But don't get rid of it!

Scotty! I'm so thrilled to see you back! I just moved to a new house, and you've really inspired me with your projects around your shop. I'm definitely going to borrow some of those ideas for my own spaces.
I love the video!! Also it’s like the kid that discovered animations in power point for the first time, but with sound effects. 😂 I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Congrats on your recovery! I just had a decent concussion on monday and i'm dealing with the symptoms. Congrats on the new work space as well. I'm excited for all the new opportunities it brings!

The “tools” you have planned sound awesome, you even put so much effort into the workshop build itself. Enjoy, It will be the envy of many myself included 🙌
Really glad to see that you are feeling well, I am also looking forward to what you are going to do and create in this place. In addition, the editing was amazing and so much fun to watch.
The style of the building montages was really fun! I especially like the inclusion of the PPE "beats" in the sequence, many other KZread makers seem almost ashamed to use PPE on camera. It's great to have you back!

The worst part of the ppe thing is that when you comment about the lack of PPE on some channels you get all the tough guys coming out saying stuff like, "Well it's actually safer to not wear a seat belt because blah blah". Nah, go pound rocks. Always wear PPE and always show it in videos because it sets an example for everyone else. Normalization is half the battle in getting things adopted.
How much fun did you have sourcing and choosing all the sound fx for this video? Fantastic editing and production!

I was absolute amazed by your video cant wait to see more videos. Glad to see you. You’ve got a lovely place.
The new editing style is very offputting. I don't mind the quick cut montage of putting things together but those sounds are awful. I see what you were going for but it's too... distracting? Not matching? Offputting in general I'd say. Though I am very glad to see you're feeling better and getting ready for videos again! Can't wait!
The laser sounds on the welding is something I've always heard in my head 🤣. Shop is looking great so far!
Setting up a shop is so fun. So excited for you and really excited to have you back making videos!
Back to game... Happy to see you with good health...❤️
What type of metal did he use for the desks? Where do you get it and how much?
This was better than both Avatar and Avatar II. Thanks for creating a piece of cinema that the world can enjoy.
Man, I just had to rave about the editing. It just flows so well and pulls you in while you're watching. No wasted time at all. Also, it's incredibly clear that you've probably forgotten more about using tools than I'll ever know.
great work! so good to see you back with your new home. I love you videos and I am looking forward to what's to come in the future.
I’m not a maker, but I am a fellow creator. That video took me on a journey. A masterpiece of storytelling and editing. Well done.
Nice to see you back!. But seriously, stop the neighbour kid from hammering on the sound machine.. It was fun the first one or two scenes, but got a bit much fairly quickly.
Glad you're back! Also glad you're feeling much better! And you have a very nice shop, which I hope to see more of in the future!
So happy to see you're back! I'm looking forward to all the video's you're going to make from this awesome looking workshop!

Beyond happy for you, as always thanks for taking us on your journey. Can’t wait to see what you’ll be working on!
Welcome back! It is awesome to see you back ready to make videos again. The workshop looks incredible.
The staircase montage must have taken so long to put together, and honestly? It's excellent, not least because of all the silly sound effects along the way. Brought a smile to my face! Congrats on the new shop, Scotty! :D E: actually, all the montages are class, but I commented before I'd watched the whole thing 😅
I feel like the sound effects are a bit overdone
Hey! Glad you are back. Looking forward to your future videos/projects.
Wow. Man, you so amazing. Thanx for sharing your time with us!
The sound effects were a bit too much, good otherwise.
finally. more strange parts videos. just one thing. all the tacky fake sound effects kind just make the video really annoying to listen to when playing in the background. tbh raw silence would be better than how it is now. a fairly good alternative is what ageing wheels does. where is just cuts the actual raw audio along with the video. music is also a alternative. honestly anything is better then a billion different sound effects.

@@frankthefkintank I think you misunderstand. it's not that I don't appreciate him. I do. I find his videos really cool generally. it's that the billion different low quality sound effects added to the video every time there's some kind of super cut (of which there are many in this video) makes the video very hard to listen to. it's very jarring. especially if you're just listening to the video in the Bg. I gave him some in my opinion good alternatives. is constructive critics not allowed or something?

looks like Scotty got himself a new subscription to a audio libary. meybe relax on the sound effects a little? made it kind of a hasste to watch.
not a big fan of the sound effects. They were a bit much. Especially when they are that loud. Good video otherwise.
So Glad to see you back! Shop looks Awesome!!!
So happy to see you back! Ahh! What a journey. I've struggled with recovery in my own life and seeing you back on your feet is SO heart warming and inspiring. I absolutely LOVE the action building editing style with all those exaggerated sound FX. Might be the most entertaining editing I've seen on KZread. SO COOL.
I think the sound effect is little bit too much and anoyying.. Meanwhile, editor put a hell amount of time sound effect those clip. Try cinematic editing a bit
Glad you're back, can't wait for your new projects!
