One of my wife's professors lived in a converted warehouse in Cleveland. It was one of the coolest living spaces I've ever seen, although a lot more bare bones than the project going on here.

I have always loved that building. I used to drive past often when taking my daughter to school. Fun fact there was an interracial couple that lived there back in the 90s. I'm so happy to see it being cared for by you and Kyle.❤

Thank you so much!!! We've always been big fans of parquet flooring so it's super exciting to use it in furniture!

With a big seating area like that it is way easier to have 3 smaller tables that can be moved together than a single large table. You never want to be the inner person when you gotta pee real quick. Smaller table on casters, zip, it’s out of the way. Besides just makes seating easier. Cheers!

Thanks for the suggestion!! Honestly having multiple tables reminds me of being in a restaurant which we don't love. We've designed and have lived in spaces with banquettes and it's never been an issue to get up to use the bathroom! Plus we come from really big families that love to sit around the table and we all rarely ever get up! It's all about the cozy vibes

It's beautiful but is it comfortable? Will you have cushions and do you simply lean against the wall? My back hurts just looking at it. No doubt you'll figure it all out. I can't wait to see how it comes together!.
