The koi pond still exists right I haven’t seen it in a while

Hector is my hero! There’s nothing he can’t do. He’s a true craftsman and his work is impeccable. I think the big guys will love their new home. We haven’t seen the koi in a while, you need to give us a look. When are you and Brenton going on another adventure?

Hey Paul! I've been subscribed for more than 4 years now and I never wrote a comment before because I know that you trully love your animals..BUT, those predatory fish do not need that kind of a reef... but your reef fish DO in the 4000gal. So you should really switch it up and put the big rocks in the predatory pond and bild that reef for the reef fish...it just doesn't feel right this way... Other than this I love absolutely everything you do!🙏♥️

I was thinking the same thing. The small crevices in the live rock wont be big enough for any of the predatory fish, but the smaller fish in the reef pond would love it!

And when will the fly river turtle get at decent new home? You've had him in different tiny tanks for ages. And what's going on with the Koi pond? You have build almost 4 new ponds and still haven't finished that one yet.

So many of his animals/fish have disappeared from the videos I'm not saying that they are mistreated or what but wanting to have more and more I don't understand how he can properly take care of everyone! Maybe I'm wrong but it's weird.

Paul if i may suggest? Adding at least only one bench of some sort around it or ON it somewhere would be dope. It would be a nice addition. Your guests can enjoy a great view to sit back and watch your fishes after a nice swim. OR!! IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GET CREATIVE.... Add the pool next to your new underground pond, Add the viewing window that will connect to your pool. Now, you can have a window underground while swim in your pool and watch the fishes!!

Hi Paul, my name is Greg and from South Africa. I was just wondering if you are by any chance going to consider putting a bog filter/wetland filter in your backyard pond? I think a small water fall and wetland filter will be out of this world for your predatory fish.

It's smaller. No way it's even close to 5500 gallons like the thumbnail says. Paul pretty much adds 30-50 percent when he lies about the size of his ponds and tank. Been like this since day one

Looks great but there is no way the wood is not going to rot out where its touching dirt eventually.

Just idea but you should of put some spray foam insulation between the plywood and rock front. Definitely would of helped keep it warm during the winter. Especially with the 3 foot underground

You should have a French drain underneath, as all that water will push up your liner eventually. You will get bubbles underneath, that area is already holding water.

The fact that Hector’s favorite pond was the one his son liked the most, he’s the best. And repping a pc shirt while working!

What is protecting plywood from moisture under ground level may be a issue later on

I used to be one of them people getting jealous about you thinking 50 degrees is cold coming from Ohio thats not cold since I moved to NC I get it 50 degrees gets cold

Make sure to paint clear emulsion coat on the rock wall, this keeps the stone wall clean and stop algae from sticking to it. It is also easier to clean overtime.
