Building an entire board of overdrives seems on brand for Friedman
As a gear nerd these are my favorite type of videos. Like a kid watching another kid build Legos
Any pedalboard that has a Dirty Tree on it is 6 out of 5 beards from me.. 😘 Killer job. It's always a chore to build up a board. Getting it all tidy and setup how you want and the option paralysis is definitely too real!! That little buffer patch box looks like a super handy utility
Right when I was thinking about new pedals to get.. Lord have mercy
This is great. Thank you. The integration of the power supply makes me happy.
You already need a bigger pedalboard or two of the same. lol… have fun. Pedalboard building is always an adventure for me and never ends up how I envisioned it. You are so spot on with the frustration that ensues while building pedalboards.
Very Cool, Thankyou. The Friedman Board looks awesome, very neat. Cheers
This couldn’t of come at a better time. Awesome upload as always bro
I just bought some strips of Dual Lock for three pedals yesterday. All I will say is that stuff is great !!!
I have been using the Friedman power supply for a while. The outputs are all 350 ma
Can we all agree, fluff critiquing people on their cable management and then showing us his mess was an awesome revalation 1:13 Thanks for the vid though homie, always great.......digging the amp, love the guitar, but your cable management 2/5 Beards!!!!!!!!!!

But he also probably did that to make Friedman happy for the commercial plug.
Trying to have a productive day, stay focused and avoid all the gear aquisition intrusive obsessive thoughts and now here i am, pausing your video and looking thru ebay. Thanks alot haha. Now I need to go call my Pedalholics Anonymous sponsor and turn in my 2 weeks clean pick.
I have too many OD pedals too but they are all so good need them all! I could not get my hands on Friedman board to go with my Friedman pedals and power supply so got the temple audio board instead.
Love those Erine Ball flat patches
I would’ve liked to know the signal chain aye
I like the Friedman aesthetic 🤘
Very nice setup from Friedman

Nice!
Hi Fluff great video would you put the volume whaw pedal first in your chain thanks
All I can say is whoever did the metalwork on that 1317 must be some kind of champion
On most pedalboard power supplies, they list the max mA but you can actually pull more than that usually.
@castleanthrax1833

Yes, and if the pedal builder says the pedal needs 300mA, it will draw less.
@ericwilliamson9869
Жыл бұрын
@@castleanthrax1833 Exactly. It’s worst case scenario on the pedals but most don’t fully pull what they say they will. I have an overdrive pedal that says 100 mA and it pulls 30 max.

I use a Caline P-1 power unit and run the 18v on a split with 1 end going to a silent modded 10 band EQ and the other to a bias knob modded older 3 knob Tube driver. Didn't know if this would work about 4 yrs ago. After all a cheap unregulated off brand pwr unit. Running 12 pedals this whole time. With no noise unless I run that Tube driver and it makes noise sitting in the case not hooked up to anything just to remind you it's still there. All my Tube powered pedals make noise even when it's the only pedal hooked up in front of you.
Can you use the buffer with other power supplies?
Teacher: just a reminder that you are not allowed to have your phones with you inside the classroom. The iPhone in my pocket: 4:28
Like the Sentry 🤙🤙
After discovering the power of EQ pedals, I have ordered three. One for each pedalboard. In front of the amp and effects loop at a minimum.
Hey Ryan, does your Drop Pedal make any weird noise? Mine makes a strange cricket noise no matter where I put it in the signal chain. I may have some dirty power. Does anyone else have similar issues?
Let hear a run through!
Having a too short of a patch cable is why I ended up buying some solderless patch cable kits so I could make whatever size I needed. Not sure if I would tour with them, but for a home studio setting, they're great. I usually put my Drop (or Whammy DT if warranted) as the first pedal in my chain followed by tuner. I'm curious why you run the noise gate first? Is it to filter out any potential EMF noise to increase accuracy/tracking of the tuner and Drop?
@noname-ng6sj
Жыл бұрын
You should put it after the noise gate, yeah. There's a bunch of utility pedals that would go first.
Initial wondering was if you were going to run the Sentry with 4 cables and how it would fit ...
This music always works, but esp with the self-convo portion of this video!
My Drop is super important on my board. It’s always sat in front of the tuner…why wouldn’t it always go first? Just curious.
Fluff is the stuff! Thank you. 1:14 ... cable management situation? We can smell the fresh baked chocolate chip cookie smell coming out of that room, sir. One pedal doesn't even have any cables. Two-and-a-half beards.
I will zigzag my chain between top and bottom row that way my cables don't have to be super long from pedal to pedal
Could use the wah-angle thingy for your boss tuner 😂
I make my own custom boards saves me tons of money and keeps me busy in my workshop 😌
there should be a bells and whistles guitar pedal.
Great pedalboard, but I hate velcro… I love the Aclam boards because of the attachment points
He could swap out the sentry gate with a KMA Pylon my favorite gate and boost pedal 👌
I had a practical reason when I decided to make a guitar pedalboard and a bass one (Bass one is smaller due to fewer pedals-so easier to use, etc.) It also meant I could do more pedal hunting So I get this video

Why the noise gate before the drives? Certainly no criticisms, just curious.

I dont want to gate the drive, I want to gate my guitar. Basically, I want the gate to be more effective and work cleaner. If there is an excessive noise, then thats a power issue ya know

Look at that cable management. Jesus Christ!! I give 2 out of 5 beard Next listing!
That Moment when you know everything is Working and ready to Go...
Can't believe Fluff is still using that Music Nomad tool. Mine's gotten a bit dinged up over the years, but the grip is still going strong.
Before setup: 2/5 beards
The Drop takes 300 milliamps? Oh thank you! I didn’t know what the issue was, but now do.
FAQ: Not sure if has been covered before but...Fluff did you move? I've noticed videos have not been taking place at the studio from before the Dragged Under Tour started. Either way it's a cool change od scenery lol.
Somewhere, sometime Dan from That Pedal Show is having nervous sweats.
The friedman power grid is an excellent piece of equipment….
dont tune while your guitar is tilted front of back, the wheight of the neck will affect the tuning

500 bucks? Jeeze. However that's pretty decent setup
1:14 Dude, after all your cable management judgements in Rate or Roast you're gonna have your own pedals looking that way? How dare you! I say how dare you!

How much? 😳😳😳😳😳
How about get an Axe FX iii and save yourself money and time.
You only get 2 beards your previous pedal setup was terrible ❤ 😂
um, why? 🤔serious question. Studio pedalboard is different than live pedalboard? Plugins are your friend in the studio. IMO 😁
