Any pedalboard that has a Dirty Tree on it is 6 out of 5 beards from me.. 😘 Killer job. It's always a chore to build up a board. Getting it all tidy and setup how you want and the option paralysis is definitely too real!! That little buffer patch box looks like a super handy utility

I use a Caline P-1 power unit and run the 18v on a split with 1 end going to a silent modded 10 band EQ and the other to a bias knob modded older 3 knob Tube driver. Didn't know if this would work about 4 yrs ago. After all a cheap unregulated off brand pwr unit. Running 12 pedals this whole time. With no noise unless I run that Tube driver and it makes noise sitting in the case not hooked up to anything just to remind you it's still there. All my Tube powered pedals make noise even when it's the only pedal hooked up in front of you.

Having a too short of a patch cable is why I ended up buying some solderless patch cable kits so I could make whatever size I needed. Not sure if I would tour with them, but for a home studio setting, they're great. I usually put my Drop (or Whammy DT if warranted) as the first pedal in my chain followed by tuner. I'm curious why you run the noise gate first? Is it to filter out any potential EMF noise to increase accuracy/tracking of the tuner and Drop?

  • @noname-ng6sj
