Dang now I need to find "two old blokes" to help me built a racking system
Them two elderly chaps should feature in your videos more often. This was one of your most enjoyable videos I’ve watched.

Can you imagine a series of fish room tours with these 3? "This fish's swim bladder is failing because he's getting old, kinda like your prostate Dave". 😅😅😅
Dave and Quinton (spelling?) vids are always appreciated!! Love seeing the banter w/ two salty old Aussies!!
Any tradie over 50 who rolls their own cigs is the real deal.
The relationship you have with those two is so fucking wholesome.
Fair play to Quinton for doing most the graft whilst Dave takes care of the banter and rolling his cigs! 😅 When they were building the whole frame outside I got neverous if it was going to fit! Finished results look great. Good idea Nick and great execution by Dave and Quinton 👍
“You look like a wasp” caught me as really funny, had to pause for a second 😂
Qld legends. Even Stevie Wonder could see that rack wasn't fitting through assembled after threading one single piece through. Love the boys 👍
You guys are hilarious, need more aussie banter like this on youtube Keep up the good work boys 💪🏻
“You’re rocking a mad coin slot”. Literally had me laughing out loud! Great video.
The no filter rolley is the sign of a true old school tradie that takes non
It's crazy how many fish tanks one can fit in a small space when you get creative and actually spend time in the present and see what you have in front of you to work with. So many get focused on the rush to breed and grow and start new projects and fail to stop and look around and see what's actually missing.
I would have painted that wall black, but that's just me. Coin slot!😂 Never heard that one before.

It’s an old Australian proverb, that one 😂
Real moral is there’s always room for more fish tanks
Classic! No filters because it's harmful to the environment and the slight smirk! My daughter loved teasing her Opa, calling him an old fart, etc. He loved it and teased her back
Off the bat, I love that one gentleman's response to you! "It is something important!" Yes sir! Dont allow the youngster to speak himself down! ❤❤❤❤
a dave and quintin series is a great idea 💡 👍 👌
Gotta give them more projects. They're a blast!
Great to see Dave and Quentin back in action. The perfect OH&S demonstrators of how NOT to! Nick will have think of more renovations or move to a bigger shop! PS: Is there an uncensored version of Dave's reaction when the rack wouldn't fit through the door?
Old fellas living the fucking dream ❤❤
Love the banter with the old blokes!
Is it wrong of me to suggest that one (or all) of the racking systems be named after Dave and Quentin?

Agreed, there should be "the Dean fry system" and the "Dave & Quentin rack system".
These two are great, priceless advice "Just fucking point and shoot" fucking love it!
Love watching the guys put your stuff together. Really appreciate censoring the coin slot! 😂😂
That's a fantastic transition and use of space, Nick. I'll tell ya . . . it's a bit like watching an episode of the Three Stooges. 🙂 Hello to Quinten and Dave from California! Cheers, Mate! ~Ron
Gr8 job! Looks like you've havnt had any issues with the treated pine tank racks, but I would be careful with any chemicals being leached out of the treated pine through water spillage getting into lower tanks. I know you've used it on other racks before and you seem to have had no issues, but keep it in mind. Keep up the great content , loved it USA tour!!❤
You need to learn to build with these guys, skillz like this are dying and they will always be needed and valued! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤‼️😎🤙
Love the ole milk carton smoko chairs, stay classy boys
You really are living the life, man.
Love watching you grow Nick but it makes my heart just as happy to see you constantly surrounded by legends. Dave reminds me of my Dad. 🙂
Woohooo, looks awesome Nick!
Where can I find a couple of old blokes to come help me out? Amazing work... I'm jealous.
Always enjoy their attitude and enjoying their work. Looks awesome!
These guys are legends! Excellent banter and solid workmanship!
Them blokes need their own channel
Whoa, that was awesomeness!! Great to see that corner light up, well done! The chatter was stellar, as it is always when the three of you work together ❤️. GREAT day you had!!
The blurring was appreciated lol
Really cool dudes to take the time out to do this for you, keep the videos up, really loving what you got going on brother. huge fan
Good to see the boys back!
I came to your shop for the first time last week and bought a bunch of rainbows and some bug buffet. All my fish go wild over for the bug buffet. Your shop is looking awesome and the 2 employees that were there were incredibly nice and helpful. I’ll definitely be back to buy more fish
Can’t wait to see the new projects !!
Excellent video! Very relaxing to watch!
Awesome looking rack! Can’t wait to see it fill out!
You are the best fish keeper ever keep it up bro
Awesome. Having only a small space for my shrimp room, I understand how maximising the use of space is so important. Great job, and another excellent video.
Mate, these guys are awesome!
OMG laurel and hardy.!
You were giving those old guys so much hell 😂
Reminds me of my grandpa 🤣 great video
love the videos them two guys are such funny characters you need more stuff built for them to be on video's lol
😂😂😂 old man winging it so hard.
Great video! these blokes are classic 🙂
The blur on the 'coin slot' had me in stitches!! 😂
"You're rocking a mad coin slot" caught me so off guard. Think I laughed for about 5 minutes solid at that.
Cool old guys 😃
No matter what country your in Ole school is Ole school... Love it... If Dave narrates an audio book I'm definitely listening to it lol.... Awesome video
This two guy are so good
Hard work with greatest rewards 👍
Love those two
loved the video! keep up the great work!
Lookin good young man!
The lads are great.
Great episode
The two are back!
Greetings from Turkey, my friend, This is the first time I am writing a comment under your video. I watch every video with interest. I just wanted to say hello. You are doing very good work, it is a great pleasure to watch you. Good luck to you.
Hey Nick, another great video. Dave and Quentin are brilliant value! Can I ask why you do not put a base on the shelves and instead just support all the tanks on either side with the frame? I'd be worried that if the bottom of a tank ever cracked it'd drop glass, fish, etc into the tank/s below. Cheers, Steve.
Great video as always! And that Coin slot lol
They there own videos of everyday life.
Your rocken a mad coin slot had me on the floor!! Lmfao!!! New subscriber for sure.
I’d love to see a video talking about a shared sump setup versus each tank having their own bubble filter. I just built a rack as well for 10Gs, and have a 40 breeder sump running the 8 10Gs - thought process being larger water volume creates more water stability - albeit at the risk of disease spreading more easily Set it up to breed my CPDs as I always taught water quality issues in the 5g I tried in last time. But I notice you trend towards bubble filters for each tank instead.
Nice set up
I think I’d get along with Dave 😂
Another great video!
2:57 Hi Quentin!
Geezzz! That Coin Slot would hold 20 Quid!
180 is a bloody deal! In Perth we are still rocking second little piggy vibes
You keep saying we, but these 2 old men are doing all of the work.. when they first brought the one beam in there before they even fully put it together I knew it wasn't going to fit...
Those 2 guys seem like good help. Is this at your shop? What kind of business do you own?
I’ve thought that when you build a stand, or in this case racking system, the wood should be load bearing rather than the screws. Why in this application isn’t it an issue?
Those guys are bloody legends!!! 😂
I just watched the Betta/shrimp rack vid with them. Lock your knees and use your back
Great videos
wow you have a rare pleco fish sir
great job, the 3 of you need to take your show on the road... lol.
We love your videos 😍
That was a great video so funny. I have watched your channel for a while now and copied your Danio breeding in a bucket video which worked in the first day. The fry are 2 weeks old now. I would love you to make more recent simple breeding videos as I'm sure your knowledge has grown over the years
i honestly envy that you can have wooden racks. The cost of the wood in my country is astronomical right now.
❤ the old guys
CONGRATULATION :) THANK YOU FOR SHARING :) THANK YOU FROM ISRAEL :)
Care. That bluey green colour in the wood is Arsenic. What are the tank dimensions? And the tank names?
just a couple of aussie battlers getting it done
Not overly sure treated pine is a good idea.
Nick can you make a video on how to condition betta fish for breeding.
That durey is a bit light there, no wonder he has no filter. -if it's good smoke you don't need a plastic filter for quality duries
Those workers will need counseling after that job - looks great
What do you do to level the tanks? I set plywood on my rack so I can shim under it with card stock to ensure a snug fit but idk if it’s necessary
Gets two old blokes to help him build everything, insults them the entire time 🤣
Timber mate,...fkin wood haha
lol as the 2x4 test run was happening I could see them try to get a full width thing through there lol
Hey Nick just wondering what caves are those rocky looking caves that you use for lots of your pleco spawning?
