ur not suppose to touch the top of the cpu and the cpu cooler already has pre-applyed thermal paste so you didnt have to add anymore.

@@gentianadesu It's good practice not to but theoretically, if you're just unboxing it and installing it straight away, that's not gonna be massive issue (if at all). Also, don't worry about applying too much thermal paste. If there's any excess, the cooler is going to push it out when mounted. Worst case scenario: the area around your CPU socket gets a bit messy and is going to need a clean up. Overall, nice build! Pak shtrejte per cmimin qe e paske marre, ama it's cool :D

Allow me to say that they're both wrong. Adding extra thermal paste will make the CPU run a bit hotter if you live the pre-applied one on the cooler, because too much or too little thermal paste = higher temps. It is true that you're not supposed to add in more thermal paste if you decide to leave the one that comes with the cooler; but most of the time, you can get a higher quality one by brands like Arctic, Noctua or Thermalright and the temperatures are almost always going to be better than the stock ones. The only thing is, if you apply the paste like you did (by spreading it), which is generally the right method especially if the past is relatively thick, you should remove the one that comes with the cooler to prevent higher temps due to too much paste. This is generally not a problem as coolers do their function right and your CPU is most likely not going to run hot, but applying or not applying the right paste, the right way, and the right amount, can provide differences of about +-5ºC. The point with thermal paste is that there's a very thin, well-spread layer that covers the whole chip to provide contact surface with the cooler. There can't be too much or too little. If there's too much and the pressure of the bolts does not remove the excess, then the surface contact is reduced; as well as if there's too little.

@chaarrrt is absolutely right. You can touch the top of your CPU. It's fine. Nothing bad will happen at all. You did a very good job with your thermal paste. The paste that's already on the contact plate of the AiO or any other air cooler is usable but in general not as good as thermal paste that you can buy online. I've never seen any tech youtuber using it. They always apply a new one.

Yeah, and at least it's working. I worked in IT store that fixed/sold computers. We got many teenage boys' first PC:s because they had plugged them wrong. It's natural to not know everything when you're a beginner.

You did an excellent job with that Cable management! With that tiny space the case gives you, it´s awesome lol.. I myself have 10QL Fans and 2 Commander Pros from Corsair in an O11 Dynamic Evo + both Strimmer Cables for MOBO and GPU.. Managed it all perfectly after 2 hours

Nice work really clean build! A small tip for next time: I’d peel off the plastic film on ur case/cooler before powering on the PC since it can create static and could damage some components. It’s unlikely to happen since newer parts are more resistant but still better safe than sorry.

What is the gif on cooler please?

I am currently in the process of building my own pc. I have been researching alot. From what i gather, that 3060, 3070 graphic card is not great for streaming and it seems that the 7700xt amd cards are top in preformance and cost. They are in the $400 range. They don't come in white, but you can always remove the outer plates and paint them. Other than that , beautiful build!!!!

I got super confused too! so I decided to just do it rather than keep watching haha😅 maybe that was why I made mistakes here and there (like thermal paste and io shield). Hopefully this video will make u less confused! :)

If this build is mainly for gaming then I'd say its overpriced, but aesthetically, I won't even complain with that price though, its clean and dayum white build are fine 👌, anyway loved your build ❤

Hello, it depends on what u actually need. Up until now I didn't encounter any problem with playing (fortnite, hsr, genshin, apex) and working (video editing, photoshop, illustrator) so for me, this build is still perfectly enough :3 as for the new video, I use all of the same parts except casing :)

so far I only got a chance to play genshin (high & extreme customed), hsr, valorant and persona strikers. They r all went really great and smooth. But I think we need to try heavier stuffs like rdr or ff xiv to really judge?

if you're upgrading now and are just playing games, you really should go for an amd gpu instead of a nvidia, if u get a nvidia gpu you will spend a lot more and get less performance, it's not really worth it, going for nvidia with the prices that u find right now is only worth it if you care a lot more about aesthetics than performance

monitor is koorui 24E3 and the bracket is oxymus ZDP1118 (idk if u can find it in amazon but its not hard to find better bracket :) hope it helps!

Nice Build there!!! Truly Aesthetic... You could have gone with a better gpu like rx 6800 or new rx 7800xt those are really good 500 dollar cards and less powerful cpu like Ryzen 5 7600x. That will give you much performance in 1440p. But I know you went more for the Aesthetic look wise PC rather than a price to performance. I will take lot of the ideas from here for my next build. ❤

if you bought Ryzen 7 5800x brand new in 2023 it might not be a good deal but if you bought it used then that's a shocking price to performance cpu but if you gonna build brand new the new 7000 series Ryzen are better choice I am currently on Ryzen 5 7600 with ddr 5

Its a pretty good build i dont think u should have got a kraken then u could have got like a 3070 but its pretty nice u did well

😭 Why did you put thermal paste, the AIO had pre-applied on it? I hope there ain't no chemical reaction. Is the 650W being sufficient?

its always way better to apply your own, as its way more effective than going for the pre-applied.

1500 with only a r7 5800x and 3060 is crazy. Love the case I getting the same one. I know the kraken is cool but I would prefer better hardware than aesthetics. I building a pc for 1100 with a r5 7600x and a rx 6750xt.

I want an aesthetically pleasing pc as well especially pretty motherboard, but since I’m a gamer and prices in malaysia is quite high, I had to prioritise on the best budget 1080p cpu+gpu combo I can get first, so I had to just settle with gigabyte b660m gaming instead 😢 and just decorate with rgb fans lmaooo

@@gentianadesu not really, some motherboards have more features like wifi more I/O and some allow overclocking some doesn’t. B660 motherboards is sufficient but like more expensive B660 or Z series would have more features and look prettier. My gpu is RX6600, I bought it used. Good enough for 1080p high settings and the malaysian price for it is reasonable.

@@gentianadesu I guess I made it as cool as I can with the budget I have lmao. I have the Asus Dual RX 6600, it’s the most basic one but the thing about Asus Dual is the design is sleek and clean. I made my rgb to fit the Cyberpunk 2077 colour scheme, the yellow, baby blue, and orangey red. The red psu cable extensions also helps to add the red accent of the motherboard. But more expensive motherboard has prettier heatsink which makes them look more neat. Maybe next year I’ll upgrade to an i5 and new motherboard haha.
