Building My Dream Office | CUSTOM Fishing MAN CAVE
The Office has really transformed over the past year. From mostly empty space to a completely unique and custom storage system. We've upgraded the bait wall, our workbench, rod storage, my computer, and more! I'm really proud of this DIY Fishing Man Cave, and I hope it gives you some ideas to make your own!

Work Bench Parts
- 10 - 2x4x8
- 98 x 25 in Butcher Block
- 4 x 8 x 1/2 Maple Plywood
- Decking Screws
- Nails/nail gun for plywood attachment
- Minwax wood stain (Your choice color, we used Walnut)
- Minwax Spar Urethane Indoor / Outdoor - Clear Satin
- Paste Finishing Wax
- Furniture mover pads to level and help slide bench around
The plan was to make the frame 37 in tall, 25 deep, and 96 in Wide. We added 4 - 15 in 2x4 pieces in the middle to add more structural stability. We cut the plywood into 4 pieces: 2 - 25 x 47 in pieces for the middle shelf and 2 - 25 x 35 1/2 for the sides. We used the deck screws for all of the frame and added a few cross beams throughout for structure. Then we used a nail gun to apply the plywood to the middle shelf and sides, then we laid the butcher block on top and screwed it in from underneath. Then the fun began... We stained the raw wood and urethaned the butcher block. Finally, we used the finishing wax on the butcher block and TA DA!

Fish cave looks great,,love the videos,watch them all and turn people on to you.Its so refreshing to watch videos like yours and debos that focus on actual fishing.I've been here from the beginning and I'm going to be here when your subs hit 100 k .I love fishing but suck at bass fishing.Mabry do a video for us guys who have problems catching bass

You could run a dowel or rod of some kind in between the posts just under the shelf and put your spools of line on it and have a spooling station type deal

You can use a curtain and curtain rod on the closet door. I used a shower rod and manly shower curtain in my man cave because my house is old and kept breaking the original closet doors.

Great use of space and looks dang fine. Add some cheap led strip ligts with a remote under that bench for $15 and make your life easier when you're looking for something in the back. Not to mention it can add a little flair to the videos when you make the lighting match the reel color 🤣

@@aaanglers just mount them 4" back from the edges so you don't see the LEDs in the video and you get a great glow. Keep up the content. Really happy I found the channel.

I’ve upgraded even more since lol. I’m all about organizing as much as possible. Condense and organize. Storage is key. So a good desk goes a long way

Check out the 4 inch and under models by Lowrance and Garmin. If not, then DEEPER makes a portable sonar good for boats and bank fishing
