ViperFX not for gaming; the latency isnt as good compared to the rtx 2080 ti. in raw power it is better but not for gaming; the latency is ok for graphics intensive designing.

Gavin Larson they are both monster graphics cards and have similar specs not to much of an upgrade

Wrongly. Rtx is a raytracing accelerator unit, not the full story. Animated films have always been fully raytraced, and Minecraft shader packs that use raytracing without rtx also exists (on Java edition so someone would actually use it). Not that this isn't cool, of course

Yeah I think you can raytrace on any hardware technically, it's just way slower

@@smiley_1000 Actually you cant i know things about pcs Mainly because im in the process of buying parts and building it so you're wrong. The main GPU from the GTX range that can handle it is probably the 1660 ti. Im not saying you're wrong but not fully right, Think about the AMD GPU'S

Iskall's lag was because of the recording. He made a new base with diferent recording software now and it doesnt lag at all.

The first glowstone that he puts inside of his build when it was dark was so beautiful that I had to pause the video to appreciate the spreading of the light twice. Even going back multiple times makes me something that wouldn`t be appropriate for this channel.

Loved the video Mumbo. & loving RT on my new entry level RTX2060! for those thinking u need mega pc I have 16gb 2100mhz ram running at 1600mhz on a 2012 Phenom, this card made my minecraft play infinitely better over my old GT 640 and hopefully extended pc life by another year at least, love living the Sunbeams & Swimming MC life!

my friend has a 2070super, 32gb ram and i5 9600k and was only getting 30fps. personally i think that seus PTGI looks way better and it runs smoother too lol

looks like a crazy shader

To make the campfire stom the smoke just shove like 3 barriers on top of it, also there is a barrier you can walk through called structure_void but to water its just a normal solid block

Runs at 60fps on my RTX 2070 (edit: 2070Super) MC runs at 55/60 average with 50 when there is a damm ton of lightning effect going on. And on my RTX2070 Max-Q laptop it runs at 40/45 low. Average: 43/50 and 60 depends on the area im in. (All on 1080p)

Only Mumbo could say "but I can see a plant pot in my trapdoor, and that's got me excited"

RTX is the best shader. It has dedicated cores in the GPU to process Ray Tracing, so it can't not be

@@danielblack4190 there are other shaders that have ray tracing. The way Nvidia stylised things isn't great.
