😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Чтоб с кухни попасть в спальню нужно идти через туалет. Главное не забывать закрывать две двери, а то зашёл со спальни, сидишь, откладываешь кирпичик, а тут с кухни заходят гости 😮😢😅😊😂

Mineral wool 15cm you have answered below, that's like 6 inches with both sides you'd be taking a foot off the internal space. Bathroom looks great, the hand basin could have been smaller with cupboard down the side for towels & linen or under the basin. Any hanging space in the bedroom? Nice job.

This is only one way it's not the only way. Keep looking at other videos. The goal is to utilize the shipping container itself versus other materials to achieve the goal. However codes are different in every county.

Beautiful clean high in . Must have a window or skylight in the bedroom.

I would have insulated only the floor and the sides from the inside, more insulation could be added to the outside if necessary even on top. I wouldn t added that much reinforcement frameing because it only added weight to the overall structure, only around the windows and doors. If you want to reinforce the structural integruty i would have used x or triangle patterned frameing on larger devided sectoins that way it adds less weight. Later add solar paneles to the top with power wall and harvest rain water if possible with water filtration system for consumption and grey water system for higenic purposes. With the use of a hho generator heating could be solved as well. Sewer can be elemenated via a composting toilet and the use of grey water system. Backup generator could be used as an emergency power sourse wich could run of biodisel of hho. For transport the whole structure could be placed on a 4 wheeled semi truck trailer with liniary actuated pegs when in stationery position. This way you cold be totally off the grid. Awesome build! Congarts!

it is amazing work. However just wondering since you build a frame in the middle (between container wall and inside wall), how hard it is to just build a external wall instead of using a container? and you will have much bigger space and height to work with....

You are correct...it would be cheaper and easier just to build a traditionally framed house of the same size. Not many positive things about a container home vs a traditional home. People seem to think they are less expensive but they are wrong.

First you would need to lay/build foundation for the frame to be built on & then cover the external with brick, timber ect. With a container the external wall is there & you don't need a foundation unless you want it off the ground. So you only need to build the internal wall & ceiling frame, you couldn't live in a container without this wall ( some do I guess ). First you see the plastic sheet to keep out condensation, then mineral wool & last plaster board. To have a much bigger space & height is going to cost a lot more money.

How was the dew point solved? What does steel do when it's hot outside? Does the container stay cool in the summer? Thank you :-)

Nice job but I would have used Spray Foam installation in a metal shipping container instead of plastic vapor barrier The R-factor would higher. Think it would be a better lay out if 2 containers were joined together.

What is going to stop it from condensating moisture due to the air space between the outer steel wall and the vapor barrier?

I would prefer insulation from the outside. The steel construction of container needs to be insulated. As it gets hot and cold, it spreads and shrinks (causing troubles with tiles and plastering) and mainly transfers temperatures from the outside. You can give more insulation from the outside and you don't lose any space inside. Of course this way as it is done, it is a much cheaper solution.
